you know it sounds like in the ps3 case, its increase in noise seemed to be heat related.
just saying the fans had to kick in to cool it (not saying it overheated or anything, it operated normally).

WOW, did you guys take the time to read the ghostbuster forums...these guys really love some ghostbusters.
in the forums they are debating which system it will be on...they know ghost but game systems not so much.
many indicate they would buy which ever system it shows up on.

well companies like Lionhead said the opposite. with a big wallet backing you, you can worry about making a great game with all the content intended to be put into the game.
where as without a big wallet, you have to cut resources and leave out game ideas and worry about the...

well, M$ had to fight off all the rumors of over heating and breaking too.
either way, M$ console stayed a "got to have item" for so long(and still is/supply has caught up). and they got swiped off the shelves for months.
i mean, you talk as if it is 6mnths into the year already.
we are not even half way through January and the ps3 is in stores.

You forgot one thing. if the ps3 did out sell the 360 like you said...you still have to consider that there was not enough 360's to meet demand.
if M$ had enough consoles at launch to meet demand, than M$ would have crushed PS3's launch numbers.
it took M$ several months to catch up. because people was snatching them up as soon as they hit the stores.
with the PS3's, in a lot of areas, they are just sitting there. you didn't hear that with the 36...
with sony's mistakes,(and to be nice)stretched truths, and bad press you guys can officially retire from trying to convince others why not to go with sony.

yeah, actually it could look better on the 360.
i remember on the xbox they where able to make some PC games look better.
one developer explained that having all xbox's use the same specs is the cause of that. when pc's are not on a unified architecture.
in otherwards there is some scaling back to ensure a broader PC audience will be good to go.

i think the argument is that you can't use games as a reason to purchase the ps3 over the 360 at this point. which some people have tried. because well yeah, there are none.
bean is an example of a logical and factual point, "as soon as PS3 starts to deliver a larger library of games like the 360 and of course the price drops a bit and online improves I will purchase one!"

a guy here at work said he will buy your 360 from you since you don't like that much.
he has been wanting one but can't fork over the full amount right now.
when everyone is using the word "software"...i think they are talking about more than just games.
and with the exclusives coming out on BOTH systems...using games as a tool to sway others one way or the other just isn't very useful.
you have to go deeper than that. and frankley the 360 has a very deep pool.
and just when you think the deepend is set, M$ keeps expanding with new announcements, features, and services.
