yeah, hdmi has nothing to do with quality of picture...it is copyright protection.
and if you guys remember from a story on here a long time ago...Microsoft and Sony struck a deal with Hollywood to suspend the copyright protection until 2010 or 2012...it is a ways off.
so no Need for HDMI this gen...next gen for sure though.

was Sony's decision to leave out a hardware scaler done on purpose? and if so, was the intention to force individuals who purchased a ps3 to upgrade and buy a new Sony 1080p TV?
you have to wonder...Sony does have that more aggressive strategy.
I moved my regular xbox to the back bedroom and there beside it sits my copy of 2k5. it still blows today's versions of madden out the water.
i can finally buy another football game...and now i am that much closer to being able to fully retire my 1st xbox, lol.
you got to love rumors. i guess until some one official says it, don't believe it. looking forward to this game...hope its game play and other mechanics will be its own thing and not some rehash style of the Hitman series.

I was thinking the same thing. but it could lead to them make more than just this game for Sony. if zootfly really wants to make this game and if Sony really plays hardball, they could get zootfly to make several ps3 exclusives for permission to make the ghostbuster game.

this is going to be a great game...i think better than what everyone first thought when they heard it was a FPS.
btw, they have said that an RPG will be made. that just because they are doing a FPS now doesn't mean a RPG is not in the works.
