you say the M$ keeps coming out with a new 360 every year.? when have they come out with a new 360...and how many years do think the 360 has been out?
yeah i was just saying this to "Grown Folks" the other day...this is a game that you play and next thing you know your saying, "o crap, it is 2:00 in the morning."
really fun and fun is what it is all about, right?
of course M$ did the marketing for it...they are the publisher.
i am sure it works like TV...the people who create a show don't fork over the commercial cost to advertise...the TV networks would do that.
wow, 9 mil for gears...they made a killing off this game.
this just shows what a relief it is to developers pockets when they don't have to do "out of this world" research and development on new tech.
despite if Halo is over rated as you say...there is no arguing that halo changed fps.
one example is halo invented the health system that we all enjoy with most fps today.
and the same goes for the xbox. you may think it is over rated, but the xbox has made it necessary for video game systems to have online and a hard drive...which turned out good for all gamers...even if you never owned an xbox.

i was just defending the people making the comparison now...instead of waiting for Sony's 2nd gen of games.

i agree. you can't say that comparing the 360 and ps3 games now is not fair because sony needs time to catch up.
Sony said their games would be amazing in terms of graphics and everything else from day one.
M$ didn't say it, fanboys of M$ didn't say it, Sony said it. they drew the line in the sand first. SONY invited the comparisons now.

i try not to get into the bashing, but i do voice my opinion.
i have been going with xbox and will continue as long as M$ keeps providing me with what I AM looking for, but...
if sony fails...WE ALL FAIL. it will be bad for every gamer and we will all feel the effects.
a perfect example is EA buying up the NFL license. if you can understand that...then you have what will happen ...

also in this months OXM they revealed that there are M$ undercover agents on Live monitoring everyone. to protect children and to weed out all the people who abuse the service. they also investigate when people get reported for various reason. a pretty good read. and they can ban you if...
i don't think Sony can afford to do any of those things mentioned. they are too far in with their choice of strategy.
i think they just need to find a way to survive until they can afford a price drop.
that will be the day the PS3 launches for the everyday consumer.
man i am sorry that you happend to ya. i know some buddies who bought GRAW for the last gen system because at that time did not have a 360 yet. they were pissed that they wasted their money on that game.
so over all it is an improvement over GRAW as far as you can tell? play better in any particular way?
