Brave man lol, tho personally I'm hoping the revolutionary aspect will appears in the form of having a ai controlled partner who manages to be a believable companion and not just a plot device that struggles to realise they are walking into a wall. I think it could add so much to the storytelling and gameplay but I may be expecting to much. Other than that I agree with you but the evolution ND bring to the genre is brilliant they raise the bar everytime in my opinion.
@mika....erm how is it cool to pay full price for a game..then pay more just to level up or get some potions i just dont get it in the slightest. i dont mind some single player dlc that actually adds quite a bit and is blatantly not ripped from the whole game such as red dead undead nightmare but that is few and far between...sorry im just shocked by how you think this is cool maybe you should stick to farmville
Don't know what you got disagrees for, my uni has a huge library so I get my books there and my loan goes on living ie games n drink n going out and rent etc. And my uni bursary for December is buying a WiiU.
On psn the full games are like 5/£10 more then retail, retail I get a box etc can resell, don't have to wait hours to download even on my fiber optic broadband, keep my HDD clear....the cloud may fix downloading via streaming but still I will not consider digital over physical unless it's a serious amount cheaper which I don't see happening for a while, tho I spose like others have said next gen won't end for a long while so who knows what tech we will have..tho for now i...
The HMZ-T1 is not the same that is just a 3d display unit..the oculus rift, Valve and the other new sony one are Augmented reality headsets so they have head tracking and other sensors along with a wide field of view(move your eyes left ect and there is still screen not just black) designed to put you in the game

well that makes it £279ish which is what the likes of shopto have as there placeholder prices so im personally thinking that this is probably going to be about right, tho this is £100 more then the wii launched at in the uk and its too high for the impulse/hype motivated xmas present buy ect which i think was a big part of wiis initial success, i know its why i got one lol.
well kojima has already said the fox engine is scalable to next gen, as is frostbite ect so i find it completley reasonable to expect mgs to be scaled down for ps3/360 then it could upscaled to next gen as a launch game. Tho if they want to go to the effort is a different matter. Also to those saying about the graphics just think about god of war 2 at the end of last gen.
im looking forward to this as i actually liked xiii, xiii-2, but im a bit worried that its set hundreds of years after the events of 13-2 as i wonder how the story will carry on, tho im yet to complete the lightning dlc for 13-2 so maybe it will make more sense then

Yep they should have called it ff online, final fantasy had always been a story driven single player jRPG....mass effect 4 as an mmoRPG would cause outrage, call of duty single player only no online would cause outrage, it's a fundamental change to the core mechanics to series even square devs said after xi that it was a mistake to make it numbered and they wouldnt do it again

Mgs5 ps4 launch title lol, i think the shake the industry quote is probably overhype and the announcment is actually MGS5 with continuous crossplay on the vita
The gameplay is brilliant, it throws you completley unexpected curvballs throughout such as suddenly switching to a twinstick top down shooter for a dungeon section and many more little quirks. The core gameplay and cobat is completley solid i couldnt knock it.
As for the story it truly is epic and it draws you in in a way i hadnt experienced since the ps1 jrpg days. I really could go on all day about the stories construction and brilliant execution as it really is brilliant ...
i dont think you can really compare it to those things apart from perhaps Pocketstation. I agree that original vita games are tghe most important thing and there are not enough i like the look of for me to jump in and get one at the mo. But i do think if third party figure out a way to do cross buy and make a profit so that cross buy actually gets widespread support then it really can massivley increase sales. As it stands im much more interested in a vita now though ive been burned once with...
i really hope this takes off and as soon as there is one in the shops for ps3/4 then i shall get one! though i think for it to be a success they need to ensure that it becomes pretty much a standard option for every game, as much like 3d (which i have and really enjoy where available) it has potential but i fear it will be under supported and not reach its potential, though id hope the cost barrier would be significantly less so this may help it.
