i agree with the perception that its just an add on, i got my kid one for xmas and parents that pop round when his playing it just think its a pad add on for the wii, then when i explain what it is they just say "were not paying that much for that, they can just play there wii". Nintendo have made a big mistake in how they have marketed the wiiu and were probably overoptimistic with the casual markets, or parents, desire to pick up a new machine.
im strongly considering a vita becuase all of the free games...no doubt this was a big factor in sony offering vita stuff on plus for no extra cash
at a very rough calculation i pay £1 for each game on plus, i have no idea how many people subscribe but times that £1 by no doubt millions then sony have a good amout of cash to pay for each game and make a profit. i mean they must be doing very well to be able to offer sleeping dogs next month.
as for your other implied point its a subscription so of course if you stop paying you cant have the games, thats like if i stop paying my virgin bill i wont expect to be a...
yea i read it, did you read our comments?, there not adding microtransaction to do us a favour but to make profit! you have only got to look at the way DLC had gone this gen to see why it is a valid fear that companies will try to exploit the consumer too an unfair extent through micro transactions.
This!!!!, its my biggest worry for the future of gaming at the mo, as im sure devs could find really subtle ways of implementing a system like this where you basically have to use micro transaction.
I'm a gamer, I care about games and Sony sure delivered them. Unfortunately marketing by ms and there deep pockets has lost Sony market share, not Sony making mistakes. Sony deserve much more credit then they get this gen I just don't get all the media hate
although its sold out everywhere i dont think we will have the same problem in the uk, also CEX are offering £140 for it so if you get 2 your be able to make a quick profit!

I can see it, and any other big games launching late this year or next year being released for current and next gen as every dev seems to talk about there engines scalability lately, to me hinting this is the case..either way il be grabbing this game day one

Though it would be 100x better in 3d...like in oculus rift which has far more potential for immersion in its current form, so I'd have to disagree with you at the mo...oh and as you know how much illiumiroom is can you let me know as it would be good to know
I have a passive 3d tv and some games eg assasins creed are really enhanced by the 3d effects and I would really like it to be standard for next gen. There have been some poor examples of 3d such as killzone and crysis which people probably think is what all 3d is like but it's not, gamers should give it more of a chance, just try assasins creed 3 3d and your see the potential if not go to specsavers or get a better 3d display it really makes a difference!!
I completed skyrim on PS3, with hardly any glitches...but I wont be buying it as I have moved on from it and the last dlc I brought from them was unplayable crashing every 5 mins (fallout 3)
@root, I agree, I've thought that it's been pushed to ps4 for a long time but it makes sense that it would also go 720 aswell now! Spose at least if this happens we wouldn't get a gimped game tho I do hope it stays PlayStation exclusive and is used to give the ps4 a brilliant launch exclusive, probably wishful thinking lol

whoever disagreed must be drunk! It always annoys me that console games are always £10 more than the pc version. No sure why this is but good luck to valve i hope they can keep their "console" games price down so that others will be forced to lower prices.
Agree, I used it on my ps3 in the transition period between last gen to play some of the ps2 games released around ps3s launch, same with ps2 for ps1 games! Il buy one regardless but without bc it probably won't be day one as il still be playing some big ps3 games, I'm not bothered by the price too much tbh but I'm sure we will be wowed by launch titles (versus 13 lol)
