@matgrowcott, yea I fully understand what you mean about the risk with final fantasy, however it is still a major player despite its recent problems, versus has the draw of nomura which will help the sales from certain fans, and based on its history I can't see sales suddenly falling off a cliff. At worst they will steadily decline which I'd imagine will still leave them in profit from as I cant see it not selling millions. Spose it's hard to judge without actual figures of expend...
id argue that sleeping dogs performed much better than anticipated, and tomb raider also is doing very well, atlthough i was more aiming my comment at the games they themselves actually develop.
Square have ruined there reputation based on how they have treated fans (locked via dlc mini games in FFXIII-2), i know its contraversial but going multiplatform hurt FF, messed up FFxiv, witholding VSXIII info when the fans have been desperate for it, and an abundance of other stuff ...

Every game requires a combination of button presses to proceed, by claiming heavy rain is not a game you are also saying everything else that requires button presses is not a game either. It is a game just one you don't appreciate.
i wanted to play it on the tv via ps3, but ive just brought a vita and considering ps4s lack of backwards compatibility, and the fact that it wont be out till around ps4 launch, i may be joining you and geting the vita version instead as il keep that longer than my ps3.
i belive this is just for ps3 unfortuanatley, lks like they changed there ind on cross buy. And yes x-2 is all female, and very cheesey but is worth a play through
It ideally would need to be a launch title to get the maximum effect I think! Though either way if all the rumours are true and it's ps4 exclusive I think it would help both square and Sony shift units
Nomura said ages ago they were using luminous for the lighting though this could of been a lie to cover the fact they moved the whole development to luminous! Personally I really hope it is now a ps4 game
Prodigy-x, square have share holders who also have a say, with sony being the third biggest with an 8.25% share. Although i agree its probably going to be exclusive for ps4 though only a timed exclusive due to Wada.

polish the sprites, fix the resolution for uk so its not got massive black boarders, chuck in trophys and have it as a psn game if need be, id re buy it as would millions more...easy profit id imagine!...but spose square knows best
im really tempted to buy one right now, though im gonna try and hold out as theres bound to be a price drop or a good ps4 vita budle. I just hope the remote play works properly with this as i was let down with ps3 psp remote play functionality!!
I'd have to disagree, good consumer practice, providing me with an abundance of great games over many years, and ps+ has lead me to have brand loyalty with Sony, since getting a ps1 I have brought there consoles at launchto support them and in turn support me getting quality games. I don't think this makes me sad, others may disagree lol, though my loyalty is not blind and if I wasn't getting what I wanted I'd look elsewhere.
This is mainly why i buy physical only where possible and on the odd occasion i do by digital its only if its not a significant amount
I honestly cant believe the amount of people who dont think BC is a big issue. To me its like apple saying sorry all them songs you brought on your ipod 1st gen erm yea you cant play them on your ipod touch soz! though if you subscribe to our streaming service all that stuff you payed full price for but cant use, well guess what, you can play it via that for 'free' if you subscribe to our premium service for £49 a year.

dont know why you got disagrees, the ps2 had bc, the ps3 had bc, not having it on the ps4 is a mistake that will impact launch sales if there is some good ps3 games out at the time as people will wait to finish them first...or there just get a ps4 and skip the ps3 games. Fanboys are crazy, i mean given the choice you cant say you wouldbt prefer to have BC then not have it!!!
