I wont buy FC5 if they dont push the franchise forward in some meaningful way. FC4 was a retread of FC3 in many ways. Which is great because FC3 was incredible and FC4 built on it, but I expect FC5 to do something significantly different to keep my attention.
Seems like something of an exaggeration. Of course BF4 has had more than its share of problems, but anywhere beyond 2 months out from launch I found it to be as problem-free as I needed it to be to get full enjoyment out of it. And it's such a fabulous shooter that I find myself coming back to it on a regular basis.

Actually it's perfectly OK, whether or not you think it's OK. Games aren't obligated to do anything. An online game is an online game. World of Warcraft is an online game, is it "not ok".
Some people are so far up their own ass its not even funny. I pretty much only play online, so these types of games are perfect for me. I dont scream and kick my feet every time a single player only game comes out.

Played it with my TX1 for the first time yesterday.... so much nicer than FM5 as far as wheel use is concerned. You can really feel the improved handling. I normally just use my controller out of lazyness, but that wheel... wowzers.

my disk drive broke at some point over the past 6 months. went to use it one day and I heard a grinding noise 2 or 3 times while it tries to run the disk, then it spits it back out at me.
huge pain in the ass because I used it as a DVD player a lot. I dont game on it much so I'm not going to get it fixed, I'll just play digital for the rest of its lifespan.
Also when I play Planetside 2 it sounds like a jet engine. but i think thats by design.

agreed on the cover system. I feel like they should implement a contextual cover system.
a lot of hype around the visuals. Personally I think the game looks and feels cheap. Definitely going to pass after playing the beta.
I think the rewind point is ridiculous. Thats what people always seem to point to in order to paint Forza as casual.
If youre not playing online, youre not doing it right anyways... as far as I'm concerned. there are no rewinds in multiplayer.
