I agree with this. I dont think the actual game will be all that great, but the experience of playing it will still be a lot of fun.
jesus farkn Christmas I want this game so damn bad its hurting my brainz. I feel like I'm going to jump out of my skin and strangle a caterpillar to death. I'm going to play Warzone until my fingers are nubs.
Does PS4 not belong in this conversation, or do we simply assume everyone wants to buy one because hype?
imo its the flaw. If they are going to go for the casual market they should at least go all in and augment the player numbers with lots of AI controlled enemies. The game is straddling a line between hardcore and casual in a way that doesnt impress me. I still think its fun to play and will buy, but feel like its going to be little more than a stepping stone to a much better follow up.
Somebody downvoted you. smh.
I've been saying it for years, people who hate online gaming and act like having to maintain a connection amounts to "the gaming end times" are in for an absolutely brutal future. The rest of us are in for great things.
MS should package up 10,000 MSDOS games and give them to all XB1 owners. That would be super badass and cool.
I have come here with my bubble to declare Xbox One to be the unanimous winner due to its superior hardware. And I'm away!
*woosh*
Agree. I mean it wasn't as played up as the demo of course, but when you get into a game with a few talkers the action and coordination is top notch. Exactly how I expect a Rainbow game to play, people calling positions and spots and whatnot. This is my most anticipated shooter (and possibly game) this year behind H5 (and possibly Fallout).
7.8 too much mycelium.
Your mistake is assuming that, in the age of live updates, a complex AAA game is ever truly "finished". People seem to massively underestimate the complexity of a game like Fallout. They could delay it, they could add fixes before going gold.... you're still getting a massive day 1 patch that comprises weeks of work between gold and release.
Like it or lump it. I like it. I remember a time when a broken game was a broken game.
Really got into playing this for the first time since the restart on X1 last night. Its a lot more stable now. Game is an absolute blast to play. Its nice that this time I understand what I'm doing from the get go.
Once you get going its so damn hard to stop playing. But everything takes so long to do, so really you need to draw a line in the sand when you Dock for refueling/repairs and to check bulletins. I wanted to go hunt some bounties around midnight last night, but ...
wow, paltry.
Was pretty hyped for this game, but now I'm convinced it will be the least of Halo 5, Rainbow Six, Fallout and Battlefront this holiday. In no hurry to buy it.
what he said made sense, but what you said is just silly.
skimmed it a bit... lol. Someone took their time to write that, and obviously put some effort into it. Thats real hatred.
I cant stand physical anymore. its such a pain in the ass. the last straw for me was losing my Sunset Overdrive and TLOURM discs. I dont need to deal with that ish. preloading and no disk management.
A ton of Sony's money? Seems like an oxymoron... =]
After watching the music portion of that MCC documentary and hearing what he did for Halo CE and Halo 2 I have nothing but respect for him. Expecting the original score in H5 to be outstanding.
I will give EB games 5 bucks if I want a preorder code (rainbow six, for instance), but otherwise I just digital preorder and preload the night of release.
Some of the best moments in Halo are when your fellow marines are fighting beside you and you are tasked with protecting them. Personally I'm really excited for the new group dynamic in the campaigns.
