In a nutshell, the beta is at 900p because it was developed before Microsoft freed up the reserve horsepower that was going into mandatory kinect functionality. Since then bungie has stated that they will be able to hit 1080p 30fps (same as ps4) for the final product but that the update did not become available in time to effect the beta's resolution.
Just a reminder that the xbox one beta is only 900p which is not what the final product will be.

We'll that's pretty cool if true. Although I would much rather them fix the awful screen tearing issues first. It's the only xbox one game I've seen that does it which is a shame since it's supposed to be a console pusher.
Edit: I guess I missed the part in the article where they apparently resolved this issue.

The psp and vita have both offered some cool technical feats but both have shown that Sony just doesn't get the handheld market.
It's pretty much the opposite of how Sony and Nintendo are with consoles nowadays.

I thought none of them were impressive. Each had one game to get excited for and that was it. Ms: halo Sony: uncharted 4 and. Nintendo: Zelda.
Not to say that I'm not eagerly anticipating any trickle of information for the new Zelda, Nintendo showed the least out of those three.

I remember the ink on my preorder slip for Twilight Princess had completely faded away by the time that game actually released and it looked to be much further along when they announced it
