I'm really just hoping for a remote play function similar to ps4 vita.
I would much rather get the special edition new 3dsxl
American release please
Digital age.
So...if we already purchased the digital guardians edition on Xbox one?
I have friends on both gens
another crappy article
Man it's impossible to ignore how stupid fanboys can be. Especially when they're "professional journalists".
Couldn't agree more.
I've never seen such negativity that compares to what Sony fanboys wield.
Given Bungie and Xbox's history with two major and flawless Halo launches (3 and Reach), my money's on XBL surviving day one if one of them has to go down.
Not all of them are. Bungie's got a reputation for amazing live action trailers like "We Are ODST" and "Deliver Hope" for Halo Reach which are both completely lacking in the nonsensical factor.
This one just merges Bungie's Halo style trailers with Activision's CoD style trailers.
I think it's a winning combination: not too serious but not too hoakie.
I can unplug my xbox from the Internet and still play all my digitally downloaded games.
Also, venturing into the post-apocalyptic Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo-Free world, I know that you would be unable to play them on a new console without transferring drm online but you could keep files on a hard drive and find a work around on a new console. if pc drm cracks can be made so can console cracks.
What about the fact that less physical evidence is created? No cases or discs?
Or does the energy that's required to distribute a large digital download outweigh the energy required to manufacture a case, disc and paper label/manual?
Also, what that one guy said about the carbon footprint left by the physical retailer. None of that is required with the download aside from server maintenance.
I'm sure you can. It sounds like you download the full legit game band they limit your time by giving you a temporary drm license.
When I go to manage my hard drive, the game has already been installed and uncompressed. The amount of my hard drive that has been occupies by Destiny is 17.9 gigs.
I read the prior comments and then checked my own console.
No it's not. Just checked my pre-downloaded install size and it's just under 18 gigs.
As someone who's been waiting for exactly all of these features to upgrade, I strongly disagree.
Still keeping fingers crossed for a Golden Sun character...
As excited as I am for the new model having wanted to upgrade for a long time, I'm surprised to see absolutely no fan backlash at g&e fact that there is already a game announced that requires the new 3ds CPU to play, meaning xenoblade will be incompatible with the 44million 3ds, 2ds and XLs that are already on the market.
If this were a true successor like the 3ds was to the original Ds, it'd make sense but this just sounds like a new iteration like the DSi.
A thousand times yes!
I'm so glad I held off on the jump from my original to the xl!
I think they did it better with the NES themed GBA SP.
This ones alright but the interior design is just so bland.
