Oh my, someone posted a list favoring PS4. It must be true, it's the internet!
I could care less for indie games but that list is missing so much.
-Xbox uses Wifi direct and has decreased input lag with both direct connection and wirelessly.
-They have non proprietary headphone jacks now and the Elite will too.
-The light bar has been underwhelming. Every now and then I catch the lights reflecting in game action, but only when I'm looking down and not at my screen. Kinect is a much better technology.
-Xbox button acts as a share button with additional context menus, or if you have Kinect just use your voice....
Downloading anything off the PlayStation network is sluggish, and that is even if it us up, the interface is meh and can get overly cluttered, the controller isn't as ergonomic as the XBox One (MS has had the controller design on lock for the past 10 years and have only improved it), and the games are personal preference.

If sales disagreed everyone would buy a PC over a PS4.

MS knocks it out of the park again with the GWG, not to mention their sales have been on fire. All that hubbub over digital only and all my games but 2 are digital.

Xbox uses faster and newer WiFi direct requiring an adapter. PS4 uses old Bluetooth technology.
PS4 might be worth it with this controller. Always hated the dual shock. The controller was clunky and never fit perfectly in my hands as the 360 controller or XB1 did.
Microsoft certainly evolved their controller into one of best as award after award has shown. The Elite will be the one to beat.

The game will likely be highly polished for PS4 when it comes out and be called the Definitive Edition with extra content.

Gaming culture is sickening now. I miss the good old days without all the cynicism, whining, and moaning about how they didn't cater specifically to me.
Interesting, getting fluid 60 fps with minor drops due to the new physics fx and being completely maxed out. But that is to be expected, no?

Do you understand much of what is going on in that thread? Most of it is fairly normal tweaks and issues etc.
How did you come this conclusion? A headline? They will sell more Xbox Ones than Elite controllers over the life of the product. MS will be able to recoup R&D costs on the Xbox One much more quickly than the new controller. Also, manufactures will take losses on consoles for market penetration.
Well, at least you have an option to get a controller that is priced at the percentage you are willing to pay for in comparison to its attached console.
Must agree with you Dark. It was an awesome show and Sony fans and cynics are downplaying it. Games, BC (more games), new IP, Indies, new controller, PC mods trickling down to XB1, Valve and Oculus Rift partnership, taste of HoloLens... Everything that has been asked for and more but now isn't a big deal.

LoL, the MS hate force is out and in full effect today. A price drop is a reinvention? How idiotic of an assessment. Still the same console, still the same titles and push for 1st party, still the same amazing Live, independents were always there but the media made a spin on that as well. Windows 10 and HoloLens(Kinect 3.0) were already in the works as well as apps.
These guys just make up stuff to make themselves feel better, so sad.
How is this even on the front page? It isn't even released and eventually with enough support it will have more games at launch and beyond.

Compared to the $600 launch price of the PS3 I would imagine so. Almost no one wanted to spend that much on a console. Factor in inflation and the new price of a PS4 is much more appealing.
Considering both of the previous consoles were priced higher in the same time period it is no wonder they are selling more, especially since there is a larger target audience with more disposable income.
The nice thing with a computer is you can pick and choose which parts to purchase and upgrade over the life of the PC. So the upfront cost of a decent gaming system can be considerably lower.

DragonDogma was poorly made. Alot of potential but no where near Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Knights of the Old Republic, Skyrim, Witcher, Oblivion, Elder Scrolls, Baldurs Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Xenogears, Final Fantasy, Fallout, Demon Souls...you get the picture. I mean it's a Capcom game, what is there to expect?
You don't understand the complaining because it doesn't affect you and you believe this is limited to the narrow demographic you choose.
Witcher 2 was made with a lower budget and look what they produced as well as the graphical options available to the gamer. Most users couldn't run the Uber setting and many wanted to upgrade to enjoy the gameplay WITH superb graphics.
Folks who spend money on a computer want to be able to use it to the fullest. ...
Come back when the PS4 is pushing 4K triple plats.
Until then, no, the difference is negligible between the consoles.
