If you are awe struck and amazed at the difference between 720p->900p then you will be floored seeing the difference between 900p-1080p...or wait until you see 900p->2160p. Your head will explode.

The game looks really good on XO. Played on PC at 1080p and 4K and was pleasantly surprised the 720p resolution did not distract one bit from the immersion.
Had a few friends over for the beta and they even exclaimed how nice the game looked. Kudos DICE.
He wants an Xbox so bad but can't afford both. I'd advise against holding your breath for a retail price drop down to $250.

Even if you didn't buy an Xbox and you want to play an exclusive cross platform game on PC, guess what, you are using Windows. Either way you have to shell out for a bare bones PC and a decent video card plus OS. That keeps MS in business and they end up with your money no matter what.
Now when MS opens it up to having a single purchased copy on any Windows system, including Xbox, gamers will be overjoyed that they are given the option at playing at different graphica...

The memory allocations he is referring to are purely graphical resources, NOTHING else. He says current memory technology isn't fast enough to transfer that amount of data, unless you get into techniques such as compression, while keeping it in the frame buffer.
New technologies are going to change that such as stacked HBM (high bandwidth memory).
They forgot to mention the PC will have the best experience which the PS4 could only dream of attaining as is it a weaker gaming system and always will be. Some PS4 users don't realize that DX12 and Vulcan will transform how PCs run game engines so much more efficiently especially on lower end hardware.

Honestly, you should never beta test/preview anything without understanding things may not go as planned.
If you are too vested into your console, phone, computer, car, house, etc... Don't modify it without knowing how to undue changes or come up with your own work around. The preview is to test a broader range of applications with feedback from users and debugging information from the consoles.
