The hypocrisy is only evident when PS4 fangirls claim to have a superior gaming system, applaud minor resolution bumps, and more grass when both systems run nearly identical and sometimes worse on the PS4. If that isn't a slap by reality then nothing will wake these girls up and they will stay in n4g dreamland.

Even then we had patches on PC because there were still so many hardware variables, game engines, graphics APIs etc...
The main reason we see it now is because console publishers have used it as an excuse to push games out before they are ready and believe everyone with internet is OK with a day one patch.

The engine isn't really taxing. Just look at the graphics. Lighting, textures, geometry are sub par for this day an age. The best technologies seem to be post processing and water. It is why it runs so well on all platforms.

I agree, the PS4 failed this year. A handful of exclusive games, worthless indies, and remakes? Poor PSN service, glitchy share play and playnow, a faster console but only enough to tease frustration once fanboys realize it isn't powerful enough. And even then some still haven't realized it. The reason why you don't get it is because the majority of people only own one console. So it doesn't matter which one has better which has the best frame rate. They will buy it for whatever console they own.

Far Cry 3 was a much needed change over FC 2 but it was nothing like the first one. Best one in the series in my opinion. Then again it was made by crytek and much more tacticle then the simple theme park which is FC3. This looks to be more of the same.

Yeah, the hunters golden gun has an increased hit box meaning you barely have to do any aiming and it will auto hit. Add the skill which increases accuracy and you have guaranteed kills. Then you have bladedancer...
Basically both powers provide mobile super kills vs the other two classes which is typically confined to a limited area.

Patch is working great. Increased frame rate, reduced sli bugs, and no flickering or hitching. Game looks smooth at 1440p Ultra settings with FXAA on a 970 SLI setup.
