Yeah, well at least you get to see your dad's balls every night.
Lucky guy.
I second. Wuss. If it's well designed and just HARD, bring it on. If it's CHEAP, that's different. It's a fine, fine line.
;-)
It seems like one of those "we're bound not to release these numbers to the public" bits to me, that's all.
Can't wait for this game!
I'm rather curious where they get this info?
I can't see retailers releasing such info to a website?
Anyone know? Serious Q.
Sure Square, why bother with new amazingness like Einhander. Just toss the FF logo on anything and everything.
Yeah it's rather unfortunate that most of the best stuff from GTA was left out of GTA4 proper.
Everything that comes out of Kojimas Studios = GOLD.FACT.
Cept when the Xbox fanboys wanna bash MGS4 for being "just a movie."
;-)
LOL. That didn't take you long Omega. Right on schedule. ;-)
He wants to bait me? Gross.
Yeah, enemies are dropping after 2 shots. Weird.
Still, looks fun! Can't wait!
Modern Warfare 2?
I think Ico and SotC would be best next served. Though I'd LOVE to see MGS, DMC, GTA, R&C, Jak...
I really wish consoles were at a BC level that they could do these things without re-releases. You guys should see some of the PS1 emulators out there on PC and their filters/extra options/AA/etc.
I agree with that Stew. I think the problem comes when EVERYONE starts playing it safe and doing "just okay/good enough."
I think a game can be creative without being totally original in the gameplay department. Sometimes it only takes that one special moment, like the microwave corridor. It takes a fine balance, doing enough new and refining enough of the old to really stand out. Of course not EVERY game needs to reinvent the wheel. But I can see WHY many devs are afraid to do so. Everyone needs to find that balance. If you aren't reinventing the wheel gameplay wise, you better really polish the hell out of the...
Very true Gwave. And like any business, many feel it's better to play it safe on creativity. Then again, games are more expensive than ever to produce, and reviewers are hellbent on being fanboys instead of giving more informative reviews.
Top FOR ME would be PS2, second would be SNES. Easily.
This list is bound to cause quite the sh1tstorm here. Can't wait!
*Grabs popcorn*
Meshes won't be remodeled. You'll see no screentearing, better load times, a solid framerate, and more clean textures, as well as no "jaggies."
It's not going to be a huge leap, but it's going to look great.
MGSR - NOT canon please. Don't DBGT my MGS!
