Item collecting I can understand.
Map exploration? Most CV's were linear.
Multilayered puzzles? Ummm... what?
Deep story? Again... ummm what?

This isn't news. Every game ever, during development, has bugs. It's not news that they exist.

If this and Hard Corps make it out by Xmas, I will be VERY happy. Seems all the best nostalgia inducing titles are on PSN and XBL.

1.05 patch damage "rebalancing" just killed it for me. I used to love the game BECAUSE it was so mobile... now, not so much. Shame really.
The same could be said of any mechanic of SOME games. To remove a feature that works, and is awe inspiring in many titles (MGS4, Bayonetta, DMC4, Ninja Gaiden, Ratchet & Clank) just seems a bit absurd to me.
I'd sooner welcome an end to the interactive movie mentality that seems to flood games this gen. I like to PLAY my games, not watch.

The concept of the "educated consumer" seems to no longer exist in today's market. Everyone wants it fast, easy, now... but they don't want to spend maybe 5 minutes to educate themselves on their product (ANY product).
