I hate articles like this... but I do agree with point 3. Tossing about titles that I can get elsewhere has not convinced me to get their system. That doesn't mean its a bad system, but I have almost no need for it.
I'm more worried about the story and linearity. I loved FFX, but it was linear as all hell. SE's quality has been questionable lately, and while I loved FFXII, I felt it needed more character development. Will XIII give us solid characters? Plenty of secrets and hidden dungeons? Or will this be the most straightforward, linear game yet?
I do wonder, and I do worry.

I'm glad I can play Castle Crashers and Braid and TMNT Reshelled on the PS3. But I'd still like to see Sony go after more titles like Ikaruga and arcade ports (original TMNT)in addition to bringing titles like Fat Princess.

I disagree with your first point. I think games, movies, fiction can illicit "real emotion" from people. I think the tears cried when a fictional character dies can be just as genuine a feeling, an emotional connection, as "real tears."
Though I DO agree that for many games, it's very clear cut, black and white, good or evil. Very rarely do I see games with choices that are more ambiguous, or characters that are morally gray area'ed.
This is the state of game "journalism."
