@KaiPow i'm impressed you got those downvotes cus wtf...Without the Chief on Xbox then what?
Nice to see something related at the political level not just resort to the old video games cause violent individuals stereotype.
Really looking forward to what they do this time around, I think they could really take Halo to the next level and the extra time away will pay off greatly. Every great franchise has their moments of weakness, Halo 5 still had stellar multi but fell waaay short on the singleplayer, Halo Infinite will more than likely redeem those weaknesses!
Fingers crossed!
I don't think in the history of Halo you could ever possibly say "the multiplayer was awful" Halo has always been top tier online. This coming from someone who played in the Halo 2 days...I've always loved Halo's online through each version.
@gangsta_red....man the truth really hurts doesn't it hahah
I don't get why some people wanna push it off. We are finally in an era where this is realy feasible and the next gen hardware is going to start allowing for some great VR experiences I truly believe VR is here to stay this time and Sony was a large part of reviving and bringing VR back to people's minds.
This is super cool!!!!
If you actually read the article though I think I would still agree...Phil Spencer had the unenviable job of fixing a company in a spiral with hardly any long term investment before he took the reins. Xbox made a massive comeback at the very end of this generation and I think the guy deserves some serious credit for that and for communicating directly to fans who demanded results.
Not coming at this as a hater but that was funny....the gun at the start reminded me of the same sound the SAW makes in Halo and also the helmets for some of the dudes and armour looks VERY Halo inspired. Like almost identical on some of the helmets.
Agree and disagree, I was disappointed this gen for what I was expecting graphics wise tbh. It wasn't the same jump as Xbox to Xbox 360 for example or PS3 to PS4. I really hope the jump this time is greater. I don't like playing games generally that have "childish" graphics ie Fortnite. Just not my deal. I want realism in my games and the tech is gonna be there soon!
Definitely agree on AI though.
This is the kind of stuff that gets me going. I can't wait for the near future when games start really looking incredible. Like really blurring the line between game and reality...well you know it will be a game but it will blow you away.
@Hungryalpaca, yeah for when you're playing conquest with a crappy team AGREE, but when you're playing Grand Operations fortifications sometimes means the difference between holding an objective or not from my experience....
I'm just finding I have issues with it where stuff is in fact not fully building whereas it was foolproof before so yeah.
The irony of building fortifications being rock solid then an update essentially ruins it.
Very cool how they did that, sneaky and awesome way to deter stupid people who can't keep products a secret for the time being.
I've been on this site for years and years. And I know I am not wrong at all haha. It's the current state of N4G I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy and how hilarious it is to me as a fan on both fences of the Sony and Microsoft side owning both.
That cover is something else.
Because it's a PlayStation former exclusive this community is like "Nice!" but if this were Xbox going to PC they'd be ripping right in. Came to the comments for the confirmation...was not disappointed.
One would only hope given it's had a better chance to be released more optimized lol
@ant1104 you realize they just went with what is in basically every other online shooter right now and it was mostly for the REQ system for Warzone and didn't apply to the regular Halo online experience aside from getting some cosmetic items to wear. Big deal, not sure how that made "Halo 5 multi garbage" and "ruined it". Let people that wanna purchase stuff if they want, so long as it doesn't automatically entitle you to special online rewards that allow you acces...
