Am I the only one that played the Beta and thought it was just absolutely terrible?
The mission structure is laughable.
Fight 3 or 4 guys in a room. Then some robot voice tells you more enemies are approaching. So you fight another 3 or 4 identical guys. Do the same thing one more time, then walk through a couple empty hallways with 1 backpack you can loot for an energy bar, then enter another room where you fight another 3 waves of 3 generic guys each.......
Just to be clear, I'm no fan of all the screaming, singing, loud music playing, trash talking, racism, etc, that you hear from some people while playing multiplayer.
But....
What you are talking about is almost akin to censorship, though.
That may be a little extreme, but the solution to people being jerks online is not removing the option to speak to people at all. How are you supposed to meet friends to play with if you aren't al...
It's not just gamers.
It's the whole "entitlement generation".
People nowadays are terrible. Everyone is looking for a reason to be offended, and they all think they are owed something when they aren't.
I'm the same.
I've played some of his games and I still think he is awful.
MGS is likely the most overrated series in gaming. What a terrible nonsensical story, which would be fine if they didn't beat you over the head with it for 20+ minutes at a time.
I remember sitting through all the nonsense cutscenes and conversations at the end of MGS 2 that lasted for something like 45 minutes, and thinking to myself, "I'll never...
You ARE getting the same content.
The release date is different, that's it.
If it really bugs you that much then just buy the Xbox One version.
Or, buy the PS4 version that you were going to get anyway and act like this doesn't bother you and maybe both sides will give up on this stupid timed crap someday.
The thing is, it really doesn't matter.
You and all the people you play with will get the content on the same day. It will be new to you all, and you'll all get it at the same time.
It's not as if a subset of the PS4 population can get it in advance somehow, so it doesn't really make any tangible difference. It's a different release date, but you can't directly interact with the players on Xbox anyway, so it doesn't matter.
I bought the deluxe edition at launch that included the season pass. I don't normally buy season passes, and if I do it is usually only after I know for sure what I'm going to get, but I got this one right away because (a) I love fallout, and (b) I have never been disappointed by bethesda dlc as a whole in the past. So I assumed it would be multiple good packages and well worth the 30 bucks in the end.
So for me the deal is already done. Now it's just time to w...
@dboyc310 & PistolsAtDawn
You can't be bias. You can be BIASED.
I really wish people would learn how to use those words properly.
http://www.simplifylivelove...
I see people using them improperly every single day on this site and it drives me nuts.
Beats the hell out of Star Child and his RGB choice.
All of these Doom and Gloom PS fanboys that think this is the end of the Xbox and worst decision ever tend to forget a huge piece of the puzzle.
Think for a second about all these hypothetical people that are going to go sell their Xbox One and buy a PC instead.
So, in following that model, now almost every gamer owns both a PS4 and a PC, right?
Which of those two platforms do you think that imaginary gamer is going to buy multiplat games for...
You know what's funny?
I am notoriously bad about remembering people's names on this website, and remembering who has a tendency to be biased one way or the other.
Except for a few rare exceptions, where I see them over and over repeatedly.
But I'll remember you now, Fries1223. I'll remember that you're never to be believed, and nothing but a Sony fanboy troll.
Well done Rookie.
I've literally never heard the term prior to the last few years, though.
I'm keeping a close eye on it for sure.
On a side note, when exactly did "core gamers" become a thing. I can't really remember where that started, but I know that years ago it wasn't a thing. And I'm sick of it already. lol
Agreed.
I was as disappointed with Unity as everyone else, heck I thought it was the worst AC of them all, but I LOVE Syndicate.
It's easily my favorite one since Brotherhood. Except for maybe Black Flag, but that one is sort of it's own thing with the pirate theme and all.
Precisely.
I'm not saying there is anything wrong with your ideas.
Nor with anyone else's.
Just that it has to be hard for them to come up with something to keep everyone engaged when they are getting told so many different things.
lol, agreed.
That was certainly the weakest link of all the side activities.
The "problem" with Destiny can be summed up by reading the comments to any article about the game, including the few I see here.
The "problem" is that everyone wants Destiny to be something different, everyone has their own idea of what it needs.
So the real problem is that everything Bungie does is going to be a disappointment to a good portion of it's players. There is no one thing that can make everyone happy.

I have a total of 9 GB on my XB1 and it's something like 19% full, and I've deleted a few games I didn't care for enough to ever play again.
I'll fill it all and need more before it's all said and done, I bet.
I agree, I see multiple people echoing BigBosss' sentiment of "I know that VR will play a huge role for next gen consoles", but I don't see it.
I think it will play NO role in the next gen console, because I think it will fail miserably. It'll stick around on PC, but mostly because it can be used for anything instead of just games.
It will not last on console.
Just my personal prediction.
Yes I really do. And I'm not normally that critical of everything. I'm not that typical gamer that isn't pleased with anything.
I just thought it was awful. The cover and shooting wasn't as tight as Gears of War from ten years ago.
The story parts seemed really cheesy and weak.
The world was boring.
The enemies were all practically the same.
The beta was just quite literally one of the wors...
