Of course it is going to play like the other games, what else do you need to know?
I prefer Crackdown to Cod or Battlefront, so one person is picking it up for sure. :)
I keep seeing people say the price is too high "for this stage of the generation", but I think everyone is forgetting that at least from Microsoft, Console "Generations" are a thing of the past.
Everything is going to be compatible from here on out, with just increases in power of the hardware. At some point in a couple years, they will release another new more powerful Xbox and the original X1 will no longer be supported. They will keep 2 or 3 consoles...
I think the 4k stream made a big difference. It looked really good.
Yes Condemnedman. The people on this site only play exclusive games, and nothing else counts.
What is the point of playing a game if you can't laugh at the people that aren't able to play it, am I right? /s
You think all of those games would look like that on a standard Xbox One?
Seems like all the MS haters suddenly think the original X1 is a beast. lol
Did you watch that conference in 4k by chance? Even if you didn't I don't know how you can say that Metro or Anthem didn't look like they was taking advantage of the X1X.
MS did have a bad show. They revealed the X1X, but beyond that, there wasn't much to get excited about.
I thought it was easily going to be the worst of them all, but then Sony managed to be even worse.
They both sucked. Bethesda sucked, too.
Ubisoft was the only good show.
Downgraded Crackdown 3? They have barely shown anything of it before now, what part of it was "downgraded"?
Crackdown has always been cell-shaded and looks like a cartoon, what did you expect it to look like?
No Kenwonobi, I don't care if it is exclusive. It's a game that looks awesome and I'm going to play it.
My enjoyment of a game is not affected by who else is able to play it, I don't understand the appeal of "exclusives" at all.
I buy every game I want to play anyway, so all "exclusive" does is force me to play something on my second or third platform of choice.
Seems like they are making the right call to me. I said it years ago and I stand by it, VR is a gimmick/fad that will die quickly.
PC is the platform that will keep it alive longest, but it will not last on a console.
Seemed to me that Sony was intentionally trying to be deceptive.
They never mentioned anything being exclusive, they just showed a bunch of stuff off, and mixed in the multiplats so that people would think they were exclusive.
Just like how they like to buy advertising deals and make it look like they are the only system you can play it on.
That really aggravates me.
Same here. I was excited when I saw this, and more excited when I found out I could play it on X1X. :)
Same here. I got a 4k TV a few weeks ago, so I'm going to get a PS4 Pro soon.
Nobody was realistically expecting it to be $400. That would have been huge, but nobody really thought it would make that price.
Like the headline says, "It's exactly what I thought it would be". The best console at a reasonable price, that's what I thought it would be. I can't wait.
Except most of their games aren't really 4k.
And it doesn't have a UHD Blu Ray drive.
It's funny, a few weeks ago all I remember seeing is people still saying that it wouldn't be powerful enough to do True 4k, and would have to rely on faking it like the PS4P.
Now, it's definitely doing true 4k, but people act like they are surprised that it doesn't also do 60 fps?
Where did anyone ever get that expectation from? Hell, I didn't expect it to do true 4k on a lot of games, so I'm super happy with what I'll be gett...
I'm not a fan of most indies, but yeah, the AAA games that MS showed looked better to me as well.
I'm talking about Anthem, Crackdown, State of Decay, Metro, Assassin's Creed, etc...
Days Gone looks like TLOU, which was awful. I love God of War but the new one looks like a fatherhood simulator. I'm burnt out on Uncharted. Spider Man looks neat, and SotC looked great as it's one of my favorite games.
Where did you get the idea that it is "confirmed" that the X1X will not do VR?
Plus, maybe I'm in the minority here, but I don't care if they do. VR games all look awful. I suffered through 10 minutes of that garbage at Sony's show.
As soon as VR has a game that looks exactly like a game you would play with a controller, and a way to accurately move and spin around within the room you are in, I don't see the point. Right now it...
I don't recall anyone from MS ever claiming that it was going to do 60fps on all games, or ever even mentioning that was a focus of theirs. They kept talking about 4k, and it sounds like it is going to do that.
Meanwhile, PS4P is doing a bunch of faked 4k.
Nothing MS does will ever make you haters happy. If the X1X did 4k at 120fps you'd just bitch about something else.
3 years ago it was a giant improvement for a game to be 1...
What "downgrade"?
It looks the same as everything else they have shown. It looks exactly like a Crackdown game should.
