I thought it was a great surprise announcement, mostly because like Commentator says, everyone said it was impossible.
And I have definitely used it as well. On a small scale, which is probably how most use it, and how it's EXPECTED to be used. I don't think anyone expected BC to take up 50% of Xbox One usage hours.

Syndicate is very good. Way better than Unity, and probably my favorite since Brotherhood.
Don't pass it up because Unity was terrible. It's really really good.
Just like anything, there are probably people that never use and it others that use it a good deal.
That's how averages work. There are a lot of people that used it for zero minutes.
There there is a guy like me that played the mass effect trilogy again, racking up 100+ hours over the span of a couple weeks using it. Of course, I think I did that after they stopped collecting data for that study, so my usage wasn't included, but you get the idea...

Oh, mine plays games like Hay Day as well, but there is the occasional game that we are both into.
Right now it's Elder Scrolls Online. That's a great game to play with your girl. :)
Here is what you PC guys aren't realizing.
Nobody is excited about the Scorpio because they are comparing it a to PC.

I don't think anyone claims to play BC games every day. And it has nothing to do with the "current state of Xbox" whatever the hell that even means.
I used BC to play the entire Mass Effect Trilogy a couple months ago before playing Andromeda. And I've played a couple other random things here and there.

Regardless of the name, we are still talking about a solo RPG and an MMO. I wouldn't expect the exact same team working on it.
Three years ago everyone said PS4 was selling so much better because it was more powerful, and therefore was the best place to play multiplatform games.

There were hateful messages a few weeks ago when MS released an update to a small group of insider alpha testers that had the horrible side effect of making them reload their profile onto the console.
I can't imagine what it would be like if they killed consoles of regular users.
I have plenty of games to play on my Xbox.
I have about 3 terabytes of games, last I checked.

You obviously never played an MMO before.
Not saying that Destiny is an MMO, but it shares a lot of similarities to one. One of which is that things need to be changed over time for balancing reasons, when they see that it's not working the way they intended or that people found a way to exploit something, etc, etc...

I did not buy a PS3 at launch, and was going to wait for awhile.
I bought a fat 60 GB as soon as they announced BC was going away, because I didn't want to do without that feature.
I haven't used it in a while, but I DID use it, and I'm glad I got it while I could.
