The person who sees two different Xboxes and has to ask someone for help is likely not looking for the 1X to begin with, or they are a confused parent that didn't listen to their kid very carefully.

I imagine that their thought process was probably that the type of user that would get this would use an external anyway.
They could have made it more expensive by putting a 4TB hard drive in it and some people would still have needed an external. Myself for instance
It's about finding a balance with the cost, and with the option to use an external being so easy, there is no reason to get crazy with the size.
Strange how unbalanced the options can be from city to city.
I live in a city of 8000 people and I have two uncapped options at 100 Mbps. One I could even go up to gigabit, but it's like 400 bucks a month. lol
I have Charter Spectrum at 100Mbps and I'm so glad I don't have a data limit.
I look at the usage history on my Xbox One, keep in mind that this is JUST for the Xbox one, and I've seen it higher than a TB in a single month.
That is not including my girlfriend using her Xbox, or all the Netflix she watches, or all the UFC Fight Pass that I stream. Plus general internet browsing, etc...

Man I remember installing a 56k modem and being excited at how much faster it was.
I also remember when I got my first DSL line that I think was 1 Mbps, and thinking it was the most amazing thing ever.
I'm so glad 3d went away. I just never "got it".

I don't know if you are using a currency other than US of if you can't do math properly, but the 1X is not 33% more than the PS4 pro. It is 25% more. 25% of 400 is an additional 100 dollars.
And just for the sake of comparison, the Pro is 60% more expensive than the PS4 slim, and the 1X is 67% more expensive than the 1S. So they are priced similarly in comparison to their previous models.

Maybe I'm the only one out there, but I'm more excited to play Crackdown 3 than any of those titles. lol
As someone who is sick of Sony's newfound desire to make every game an emotional journey like The Last of Us, I'm not too excited about a lot of their upcoming games. My two favorite things I saw from them at E3 are a remake of a 12 year old game (SotC), and a DLC (Horizon).
I much prefer the "And everything we showed comes out within the next year" type of show.
I know MS has done plenty of that crap in the past where something is still a LONG ways off, so I hope they are getting away from that.
And I hope they don't cancel all of these games before they are finished.

It's a better way to play the same games you can already play on PS4, just like the X1X is a better way to play Xbox games.
Some people looking to buy a new PS4 might buy a Pro, and some people looking to buy a new Xbox might buy a 1X.
You are counting on everyone to compare them both and look into which system has which exclusive games and then decide that the PS4 is the only logical choice. Y...
