Yeah I am suddenly very excited for this game.
I'll never understand this mindset, although I know there are a lot of people that share your thoughts.
Why does seeing your character help you role play? Wouldn't seeing through the character's eyes be the ultimate way to role play?
Seems that way to me.
The first person view is a large part of why Elder Scrolls and Fallout are my favorite RPGs.
That's funny. Having known very little about what this game was going to be until now, I am probably going to get it JUST BECAUSE it's first person.
It doesn't make the total fanbase bigger, but it gives you access to a much larger piece of it.
What does the total fanbase matter if you can only play with 20% of them?
Bump that to 70% and all of a sudden it's a lot bigger to you, right?
This game has so many players it probably doesn't matter, but it certainly doesn't hurt.
MakoD I'm not sure how much of that was supposed to be serious, but I agree with a surprising amount of the points you made.
Especially #7 about Death Stranding. I mean, I don't like Kojima so I never thought this game had any chance of appealing to me, but seriously, WTF?
#9 as well... But you forgot about the Banjo at the beginning as well. What was up with that?
That’s no surprise, Remedy announced a while back that they were going multi platform with their next game.
Who said I hated it?
I’m buying it for sure.
I just said I did not expect there to be an option to play in a private game.
Jesus, jump to conclusions much?
And I wasn’t “making stuff up”, I was just taking a guess based on what little I’ve seen so far. I even said in my post “I’m guessing”. lol
This is the worst E3 show I’ve ever seen.
There is no reason to believe that is even possible. I'm guessing it won't be.
@Morganfell
You're really going on out a limb there.
I have a PS4 so I'm not missing out on anything.
Most of their games this gen haven't appealed to me. I liked Horizon: Zero Dawn quite a bit.
That's about it. None of their upcoming games really appeal to me either. I hated TLOU, I hate Hideo Kojima, I don't care about Spider Man, etc...
I'm not saying any of those are b...
No reason except for the fact that it's a shared world that changes based on other player's actions as well.
If you don't like that type of game, that's fine.
But there is definitely a REASON why it's online. That's the type of game it is.
Not from this guy.
Streaming games being as good as something played on a local device is a pipe dream that will never happen.
Sorry I have to disagree.
It was easily a better game than Mass Effect 1.
Not looking down on anyone.
There is just a distinct slant to the people on this site. Pro Sony, pro solo.
I like all types of games. Most of my favorite games are solo games.
It’s just weird to me that so many people automatically hate this game, apparently just for the crime of having co-op.
And god forbid a game requires you to be online, even though you always are anyway.
Just some of the t...
Guess I shouldn’t be surprised that the “single player only, I don’t believe in having friends” crowd on this website doesn’t like this game.
Good, Andromeda was a great game with a great story.
I don’t expect it to have pvp
This game is surprisingly awesome.
I don't get why people always blame Overwatch for Battleborn failing.
Those games are NOTHING like each other.
Do you run around staring at your character constantly in 3rd person games??
I mean, shouldn't you be looking at where you're going, and the enemies and stuff?
I can't believe there is an uproar over this. lol
