I can tell by the upvotes and downvotes that the majority of people on this site somehow have no freaking idea what GaaS means.
Jesus Christ you guys act like the sales are freaking ZERO.
I don't expect him to give us every bit of info.
It doesn't matter what he gives us, his games have been nonsense as long as I've known his name. Metal Gear Solid had the most ludicrous and terrible story I've ever seen in a game series.
It shocks me that people that are excited for this game.
But again, like whatever you want, I hope you enjoy it. I just personally will never understand.
I think their problem was that they assumed everyone had played the DLC and knew this already.
If you didn't already know it, this was sort of a shocking way to start the trailer.

Those games are far more similar to each other than Sea of Thieves and Skull and Bones.
But they are NOTHING like each other.
NOTHING.
In Sea of Thieves you control a character in first person and manipulate different parts of the ship to make it go, or make it shoot, etc... You can jump off at any time and go anywhere.
In Skull and Bones, you ARE the ship. You, by yourself, control every aspect of the ship and can't leave the ship in any way.

Based on the up and down votes, a ridiculous percentage of people on here like to just walk in their games while listening to the characters talking.
I'm not one of those.
I love a good story but there are far better ways to tell it than long drawn out walks with conversation. I hate that crap.

I played all of GoW 4 and I have no recollection of her or who she is.
I barely remember anything about the story of that game, for some reason.
It just didn't grab me like the first 3 games. :(

I remember it had some kind of co-op specific missions that were separate from the campaign, but that is all.
Fallout was an isometric top down game and it went to first person and now it's one of the best RPG franchises out there.

Games as a Service means a game is supplemented with additional content over a long period of time so it continues to generate revenue. IE: You're not just buying a game and that's it, you continue to pay for the "service" as that game grows and changes with new content.
