The PS4 is more powerful. Some games will likely look better on it. Hell, maybe all games will.
But for me, that won't be enough to make it my primary console, for all the same reasons you listed. Controller, XBL, and the fact that it is also where my friends are, etc...

Ironically, they changed to make people like you happy and it obviously didn't work.
Meanwhile, people like me were fine with the way it was, now I'm stuck without some features because the people that aren't buying an XB1 anyway bitched a lot.

Yeah the XB1 version looks better in the comparison vid I saw.
But everyone has their own preferences, so whatever. It doesn't really matter to me.

I'm buying both, but unless there turns out to be some monumental difference between systems, I'll be doing all my multiplat gaming on XB1.
I simply like the XBox controller layout better, and the extra features offered by the One. And a few extra graphical features can't override that for me.
I know that isn't for everyone, and that's fine, but I'm not choosing my game...
What's funny to me is everyone is hammering on the XB1 constantly with all these terrible rumors, but nobody is putting them all together.
What I mean by that is this:
Supposedly the XB1 OS is still having issues, and they are having problems with some drivers, especially concerning the ESRAM, yes?
And now there are all the 720p rumors everywhere.
But nobody is putting these two things together.
