So many things have changed since launch I couldn't begin to list them all.
You must not be paying very close attention, or you don't have an XB1.
The party system has been completely revamped, and got multiple small tweaks.
The layout of the home screen itself has changed, the friends section has drastically changed, we've gotten External HDD support, screenshot capabilities, etc, etc...
Again, if you haven't...
You guys and your continuing hate for a "24 hour check in", which would have affected exactly ZERO of us here.
I can't remember the last time my internet was down for ONE hour, let alone 24.
Plus it never happened, but go ahead and act like MS personally came to your house and pimp slapped your mom or whatever.
The fact is, with the exception of a tiny graphical difference, the Xbox One is a better console in every way.
Sorry that was just the first thing I hit on when I searched for eneloops.
Obviously they still cost money but I was just pointing out a good non-throwaway option.
The counter argument is that symmetry means nothing at all.
Nothing.
Everything you use in your daily life is not symmetrical, and for good reason. Your hands aren't likely doing the same exact thing anyway, so it just doesn't matter.
The dpad is rarely used in modern games, save for item selection or something minor, so it's down below and out of the way. It's easier to drop down to it to select something than to reach over ...

Seriously. Those things are awesome.
They'll ast 5 times as long as a DS4, then you just swap them out and the dead ones can be re-charged in a couple hours times.
Are you flipping kidding me now, monkey?
You don't play any games that primarily use the left stick and the face buttons???
How about God of War, to use a Sony example???
How you got so many bubbles spouting such nonsense is beyond me.
Symmetrical hands. Christ. Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
Hilarious.
Still with the AA batteries argument? Really?
Replaceable batteries is a positive, not a negative.
Go and read, oh I don't know, every other gadget review in history, and come back and tell me how many got a plus for having a built in battery that couldn't be replaced.
Spoiler alert: zero is the answer.
I'm really sick of everyone calling developers "lazy".
Any time a feature is cut or something doesn't work the way you think it should, the default reason is because of laziness.
It's ridiculous to really believe that.
It just shows how little knowledge of game development you actually have.
Kingthrash.....
"Anything that depends on online stability is just not something you want to bet on."
Tell that to Blizzard in regards to WoW. Or more recently, Bungie with Destiny.
"There is absolutely nothing stopping sony from doing the same tech."
Correct. Except for the money, servers, know-how, and technology behind it. Other than that they are practically ready to release it now.
Then AC used the idea for some of their collectibles, and those were equally irritating. Some kind of pages in 3 that would float away, and then the shanties in 4.
Especially aggravating in that game because of how easy it is to get stuck on something you don't mean to climb.
But yeah, the Crackdown 2 ones were awful. And since you could max out your agility without getting every single orb they were certainly not worth the effort.
The ...
I don't think the world needs one Pewdiepie.
Kingthrash, give it a rest.
Battlefield destruction is not the same thing at all.
And I honestly don't remember anyone praising Ryse before launch, and very few people praising Titanfall.
Both good games, honestly, but they both got a ton of hate. Plus I'm not sure how any of those games relate to this at all.
Yes this technology is unproven and isn't out in the wild yet, but to just dismiss it as garbage seems j...
I wouldn't call Crackdown an "unpopular" game, just because it isn't a juggernaut like Halo or Gears.
The second game, which didn't have a Halo beta to pad it's sales, and was almost universally agreed to be not as good as the first game, still sold a million copies.
Saying "they should use it in Halo" sounds great until you really think about what that means.
For one, the potentially smaller number of user...
I never in my life have heard any one of my friends mention the size of a console or what it looks like.
It never ceases to amaze me how many people on the internet prioritize the looks of a box that is going to sit in an entertainment center and, for all intents and purposes, be invisible to most people because they are focused on the TV screen itself.
I'm not criticizing anyone for having that opinion, just expressing my surprise that it exists at all. ...
I don't know what to think about the TV portion of the game, but the game really looks slick.
And Remedy is amazing, so I'm looking forward to this.
Gamenamefame is cracking me up on all theses crackdown articles posting that crappy Everquest video over and over and over. lol
Everyone has been saying cloud compute was impossible for the last two years, now it's not impossible, so Sony can do it too, and better, and they were doing it first.
lol
Give me a break guys.
Sony does not have the ability to do this, unless they want to rent servers from Microsoft.
...
I have 2 Xbox ones and a ps4.
Both Xboxes get used daily.
The ps4 hasn't been used in a year.
@inveni0
What we saw wasn't impressive?
http://www.ign.com/videos/2...
So, a bunch of console games are doing this I suppose?
Name me one.
Sony over prices all of their "non-playstation" electronics.
That is probably why all the other divisions of the company are losing money.
They make great stuff, but it is just plain too expensive most of the time.
I loved that dashboard, but sadly, you have to admit that it wouldn't do well with the wide array of features we have now.
:(
