I agree it can be improved, but were talking old tech here. Your computer is better in probably every way, minus a Blu-Ray player. It's like complaining that my 1986 Chevrolet Caprice doesn't go as fast as my Ferrari. The reason nobody is talking about this is because it's natural progression, I expected this in the next generation of consoles, and both of them did.
How are people like this even allowed on a gaming site?
Assuming that the reveal is all it has to offer, and expecting nothing at E3 is flat out ignorant. If you can't even wait for details you have no business talking. You act is if you know exactly how this thing is going to work, what's on it, and every other detail we'd possibly want to know. You don't, and won't until we all do. Reserve judgment for E3, I for one am happy they saved the games for that particular event. If they play their cards right they can very well have...
I see Alex Jones made an N4G account.
Best $15 I've spent in a long time. Probably one of the funniest games I've played, while being a great game in itself. Responsive weapons, large open world, actually rewarded for getting collectibles. Why this wasn't turned into a full retail release, and Far Cry 3 was will confuse me until the end of time.
Achievement unlocked! Finished Debbie does Dallas without changing pants.
Without consent, every single X1 owner could sue Microsoft and crush the company. How on Earth could any company think it's a good idea? It's not happening, it never was. Only a tinfoil hat wearing, Alex Jones nut job would believe that crap.
@IBleedXbox.
I see Alex Jones has already made an N4G account, how unfortunate for all of us.
"It'll be hard to meet the expectations people now have of Microsoft's E3 conference" They said the games are coming, probably more details on the console. If they do those, and clarify (while fixing) some issues people have, they'll nail it. As for Sony's conference. "it'll be even harder to surpass Sony with their conference." How do you know it'll be good? What if they tank it? None of know. All we can do is hope they both do good, speculation is...
I hate to break it to you but 70 million sales (roughly) with 40 million sold at a loss while most software on the Xbox 360 regularly outsells the PS3 counterpart at a 2-1 ratio is not a success. With a bad launch and not the greatest of hardware, they really pulled it back, I'll give them that. But at this point these sales mean nothing because the return was there. Strictly business talking here. They did great with what they had though, can't deny that.
I liked the idea of adding achievements to games at will (granted if they're reasonable. I'd hate for developers to start padding games with them) But TV? That's 50 different shades of stupid.
They can be great, but they hardly make the sales numbers that retail games do. Minecraft was a one hit wonder, we won't see the success of an indie go that far for a long time.
You're thinking of IGN, not Rev3.
If first impressions were everything the PS3 would have failed instantly, and look at it now. Total success with games. And that was a console launch, this was just a reveal. We should definitely wait for E3, or at least all of the final details.
So we should wait for E3, Microsoft had a timer right after the show. They've never said "hey we have lot's of exclusives at E3" and had them all be shovel ware like we've received. I have a feeling that they're going to do at the least this one thing right. And who knows, online DRM is easy enough to not use, they might just play the good guy card and drop this whole thing. I expect E3 to clear everything up, and get the console news back to normal, or set the final...
Can we wait for all of the details for both to be out, please? The fanboys are getting crazy on the internet.
It would be serving the fans buying the game wouldn't it? Fan service. Women wouldn't be caught in a full on engagement like Battlefield tries to recreate with class based gameplay. Women still have very few positions to pick from when it comes to being a soldier. Not to mention all of the sexists videos anybody could see a mile a way if they incorporated female character models. It's an accident waiting to happen, unfortunately.
Alpha Protocol did choice right, every choice you made had an effect. The problem with it was the combat sucked, and the story sucked. That's why everyone skipped it. Activision never bothered advertising for Singularity, that's why it flopped, despite being a good game. Psychonauts, and Beyond Good and Evil are both held up as fantastic games by most, redundant having them there. Okami was also very well received for it's creativity, and gameplay. Also redundant to have it on the...
Sounds like fan service. If this is supposed to be a feature spend money on something else EA, you're not getting a bunch of feminists to buy your game with this.
15 exclusive games, 8 of them new IP's within the first year of launch. Ignoring that is flat out ignorant.
That's a lie, any laptop out of Best Buy could download faster from better hardware alone. "PSN is as fast or faster than any other download service." Why can't bubble down for blatantly lying be an option? The crap that people will say on the internet is insane.
