It's all about what the device is used for. a PC's primary function isn't to play games, might be what you want out of it, and what you built it to do, doesn't change what it's main purpose is.
IaMs12, they did have a specific purpose when they were made, even now the most used and primary function of the device is probably surfing the internet, right behind that would be programs like Excel, Word, Power Point, and programs used in retail stores. Games ar...
The tech inside the the device, and how it tracks is entirely different, clearly you're taking this out of context, folks. I never said the use was different, again, ignorance has been noted.
Just to point out how stupid Sunny's comment was I guess Nintendo should sue Sony over the Move? Or does it not matter because they have patents on the tech? Same goes for Microsoft because they also have patents on their technology. Same situation, don't act like a fanboy, just make...
The map pack that's already been leaked and well known for a while now? You're horrible at keeping secrets Crytek. Thanks for adding achievements/trophies to a game that's still broken. Half way super soldier trophy/achievement still doesn't work, but you'll add more with a map pack to a broken MP? And expect a ridiculous price for 3 maps? Chances are they'll be made to look pretty rather than be functional. Unless it's Ryse tomorrows announcement will likely be gr...
It's completely different technology, your ignorance has been noted.
I remember a my brothers friend picking up 6 360's at launch and selling them on Ebay for 2 grand each, keeping one for himself. I feel bad for those guys if they ended up getting a RROD. PS4, and X1 will most likely have the same scenario with them being sold at crazy prices. Got my PS4 pre-ordered, now I gotta wait for the X1 to go up for pre-order.
The covenant skins gave the game mode character. I'd take it over that pretentious overrated Spartan Ops any day. But at this point I don't trust 343. They knew exactly what we wanted, they gave us the opposite and wondered why we were mad. I don't expect improvement in Halo 5, I just hope it has it.
How is it that the best looking Call of Duty isn't out yet and it's already been outdated for 3 years? A decade or so counting PC. I hope this is the last we see of Call of Duty, it's had a very negative influence on a lot of huge MP games, especially Halo 4.
I had a good chuckle when I noticed it. If it's all in good fun what's the harm, right?
If that's all the games you noticed you're one ignorant fool. Play the fanboy card and you lose every time. I've owned every console and haven't regretted a thing.
Biggest E3 yet, I think we're all excited. Can't wait to see more games from Sony, even Microsoft has games waiting for us this time. I'm going to have my mind blown by the amount of reveals from all of the big 3.
It's probably from the core game, like it is for every other title that announces DLC before the game launches. A question for all developers. Why? Making games should be cheaper, while profit can still be the same you would earn with huge budget games.
I put in a video that should well explain why making the games should be a lot cheaper, and the DLC should come after. DLC shouldn't even be acknowledged until a month after release, at least.
The only class based system that worked with Halo was Invasion mode. Something Halo 4 sorely lacked. Invasion really felt like it belonged in Halo, what Halo 4 did was just wrong. If they stick with the Call of Duty base it's going to have yet another failure of a MP. Disagree all you want folks, 30K people a day is a massive failure for a Halo title. It's not because it's old or stale, It's because they broke a competitive formula that was one of the best for FPS games.
I'd fight for my rights, but I'm not going to fight over plastic. With the whole Korea thing is a silly comparison. You can fight for ideals all you want, I'll live for mine. If fighting is the only way you can prove a point, you never had a good point to start with.
The invasion of privacy thing is silly to me, sounds like a tinfoil hat conspiracy. I think more features will come with E3 still at the booths, they haven't even touched on LIVE yet. We should be optimistic. And thank you for seeing the smart phone thing, I find it the best way to help people understand.
He's a little sour, but we can't ignore the fact that this site has a pretty obvious bias in the users. (towards Sony that is)
People love to complain about features don't they? Granted I wasn't blown away like I hoped to be with the X1 reveal, but features it seems to have a lot, and we'll likely see more at E3 at one of Microsoft's booths after their conference.
My question for the users here, do you have a smart phone? If so then don't complain about features. Phones were made to call people, you most likely use it to text, plan your day, use it as an alarm, check the internet,...
Well if the MP is anything like Halo 4 it's a pass, and another year MLG will once again ignore the series. Tell me it's good all you want but 30K people a day compared to the hundred fifty thousand or so from the Halo 3 days, it's bad. I'd rather this E3 focus on new IP's, and if it has to be Halo make it a Halo 2 remaster.
And just like any war, if you're fighting in the first place your kind of stupid. If you got what you wanted out of your product great, if all you can say is how the other guy didn't because you somehow know everything about a console with zero hands on experience, you're a real piece of crap. While defending your console of choice all you really do is bring the community down, it's why gaming is still laughed at. If the community grew a pair and manned up we wouldn't be r...
Remember when the PS2 had the least amount of power? And still being the best console of it's time. (and still my personal favorite to this date) When on Earth did graphics become the focus? Sorry but AI's have hardly improved over the past 4 years, why don't we work on them first. What the PC is getting now is what we should leave it at until games themselves actually start to get better, rather than recycling an old formula that plays the exact same way. Graphics are the most ov...
Well it all depends on what you want out of your game. Unreal will most likely be the go to engine for most developers like it was for a lot of games this generation. Hopefully Crytek's engine fails so they can start working on gameplay rather than unnecessary graphics. The Fox engine looks good so far, would like to see more. If I had a more specific question this wouldn't be so hard. Are we talking prettiest looking, best playing, smoothest running, most used? Need more details to a...
