As long as they make a generic action campaign with lots of explosions, buffed 2-dimensional military characters, and of course the United States reigning supreme, they should be fine. Oh, and you have to include the many many different and unnecessary ranks.
If you don't want to spoil yourself about the game, stop going to game previews. Although I tried doing that for myself, but it doesn't work so well.
I totally agree with the Samus thing. I mean..up until a few years ago, I thought she was a guy.
I love this guy, he is what game journalists should be, unlike the pompous d*ks at IGN (with the exception of Greg Miller). So what if he gets old? He's only 37, he's got a long life ahead of him.
Dark Souls is the type of game for a more 'niche' crowd. I consider myself a huge fan of RPG's, but Demon's souls was not up my alley. While fans of Demon's Souls will certainly love Dark Souls, I doubt that people who don't like getting their ass kicked every 10 minutes will not prefer Dark Souls over more 'mainstream' rpg's like Skyrim or Witcher 2
Exactly what I meant. I honestly can't recall any third games in a franchise that received higher critical praise than the sequels. Metal gear solid is probably the only exception I can think of. While I know U3 will be much better than U2 (considering ND's track record), unfortunately I see it having 9.0 scores all around, with a couple of 9.5's and 10's. Don't get me wrong, those are amazing scores, it's just that they are not as high as U2
There's not much you can do with the zombie genre in terms of uniqueness anymore. It has been over-saturated almost as much as the FPS genre by both movies and games like Dead Rising or L4D.
Although i doubt this game could equal the critical success of the second game, I still think it will probably be one of my favourite games of the year.
I think Skyrim will destroy both the Witcher and DA2
