Thank god...after the first Everquest, SOE has been a huge disappointment in the MMO market. MXO flopped, SWG flopped, DCUO is failing fast.
@ all the people saying LA Noire looks good. Yes it has a cool art style, and the motion capture tech is cool and all. But the graphics themselves don't seem that amazing at all. Character models are pretty ugly actually. I've seen multiplat games with better textures and lighting as well.
I dunno, i'm getting tired of all these similar shooters. It doesn't look much different than COD with aliens and cool guns. I'm a huge resistance fan, and I loved R2 for the hectic online (60 players) and 8 player coop. Aside from the art style, this doesn't seem to distinguish itself from common shooters much.
How much is the warranty: 1 year? Most of the time a console breaks down AFTER the warranty. So people have to replace the console then or pay a crapload of money to have it repaired.
Kojima should go to Crytek and teach them how to make proper AI. I still think MGS4's AI is the best this generation by far.
At least you guys have it available in Europe, albeit hard to find. We in Canada don't have a single copy here yet :( . I NEED to get my hands on this game
Hmm.. I did not think of that..but I agree with what you are saying now. It makes sense that Microsoft and sony will both stay in this gen for a few more years due to their Kinect/Move. However, I don't think NGP will affect the move into the new generation. I mean look at Ninendo's handhelds, they are gimmicky with sub-par graphical potential. I think the handhelds are in a generation of their own when being compared to the Ps3/360. And while you're right about 2014 being the ear...
I don't understand these mixed reviews. The game is getting 6's, 7's, 8's and 9's. Really strange. I guess I have to get the game in my hands to see.
Are you serious? I mean i'm ok with new cars, tracks, etc. But a new game mode (and such a popular one) that could EASILY have been included in the game? wow...*&$% YOU EA!
As long as its not in America. That setting has been overused by GTA. we need a new country. France will do just fine.
I think it will be announced next year: E3 2012. Why? because after this year, I can't think of any games that MS will have. Gears 4 or Forza 5 will not come out in 2012. Maybe another halo game. Maybe some new Ip's Ms announced, but it doesn't have that many first party developers, so i don't know...
Pretty bad article. Portal 2 will be really good because it's innovative. How you ask? How many puzzle games have coop? Diablo 3 will NOT flop. Why? blizzard game--enough said. The only games I agree with are Duke Nukem Forever and Driver. That franchise sucks (Driver) IMO
How is 360 in huge trouble? it managed to stay ahead for 3 years in almost every region. Also, you have to remember that the old 360's cheap plastic design made it much easier for MS to have a profit margin on every console sold, while Sony was still struggling to break even. Yes, Ps3 has caught up quickly, and is looking to get ahead by the end of this year, but you can't ignore the fact that a lot of people still have and still will buy 360's.
How bout hand this over to Rocksteady to show you how a proper spiderman game is done. Or at least to the team who made Spiderman 2.

This data is understated for everything. First of all, it is taken from Gamestop and IDG, and how many of those are in eastern europe? None that I remember. Second of all, Gamestop is not nearly as big in europe as it is here, plus there are many other larger electronic stores.
Hell no, people who are quitting are almost always coming back, and until Blizzard comes up with their new MMO, then WoW subs will decline. No MMO out there will take the WoW crown anytime soon

I guess we'll just wait and see. After the miserable failure that was PSPGo, hopefully Sony learned from their mistakes - High price and minor improvements do not equal profit. NGP is looking awesome graphics wise. It will all matter on the number of quality games available on release (which should be a lot if sony learned anything from their ps3 launch), and the price.
