That might be true, but that's not my point. GT5 sold alot, and it was definitely helped by the huge amount of hype generated
New IP's should not be announced more than 2 years after the projected release date. yes, in some cases it generates hype, but in most cases people lose interest in them. there is also the chance of the game failing during production (ex: the Agency). However, well known sequels to games (i.e. Gran Turismo 5, Diablo 3) should definitely be announced early to generate even more hype since fans of those franchises will buy the game regardless of release date.
I agree with everything on that list except resistance 2. That game was one of my favourite FPS of all time. The online was so addicting! I don't understand all the hate against it

The MP in KZ3 is leagues ahead of the MP in Crysis 2 (which looks like crap because of so much texture pop-ins, screen tearing, low-res textures, etc), but please don't turn this into another Crysis 2 vs Kz3 article. And I also find it hillarious that you are so blinded by fanboyism that you can't see how great Crysis 2 SP looks.
Wow harsh review...I haven't played the game, but I'm 100% that it does not deserve a 6.8. This reviewer has no taste in games.
Its a game, relax. I'm not going to get in how hypocritical feminists are because that's another topic, but please, the game is not meant to be taken seriously, and it's unfortunate you don't understand that.
The storyline is good and creative for a shooter, but the gameplay and graphics just don't hold up. The graphics look literally like dirt and the gameplay is very very generic and gets boring really fast.

I hope only the main storyline is 15 hours with lots of side quests. If this is not even close to fallout length, then i'm not buying it.

If you don't understand that then maybe let's see how you would like if your car manufacturer shows up at your door and removes your rims. Or how about if the bank decides to take a few windows from your house every once in a while all in the name of 'cost saving'. Sony knew they were making...

I agree with what the author is saying. While the game has its flaws (and doest deserve 97/100), it DOES however change the RPG genre for the better with the dialogue and character relationship system.
I think Kevin butler is becoming less and less funny. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, but compared to the 2009/early 2009 ads, hes not that funny anymore. Remember the old MAG ad or the ratchet and clank ad? Those were amazing
