My god this game looks amazing. The melee system is really badass. And the bosses....:D
I agree with most of the review, but what REALLY bothers me is how IGN gave the online a 7.5 saying that there are limited game modes. Really a 7.5? From what i've seen the MP looks amazing, and the bomb squad (or w/e its called) game mode seems like a new and fun addition to the genre. Plus, SOCOM mp is a nice change from the usual 'lone wolf' and 'run and gun' gameplay which most shooters (i.e. COD and Crysis) have these days. I get it, the presentation, story and graphi...
I agree completely. ME1 was a much better and more mature game, while ME2 mostly consisted of repetitive "get all your buddies to trust you" missions. I think its a highly overrated game over the first one. You want to see a dark rpg? Play The Witcher. Dragon's Age or ME does not come close to that.
That looks horrendous...
Ouch
I never said it is cell shaded u moron. I said it looks cell shaded. And if you actually saw recent footage of the game you would see what i am talking about
@bangoskank
True, but its not enough incentive to justify the purchase of a new console.
Dragon age sold marginally less on Ps3, mostly because people thought it would be like the first one - lower quality than the 360 counterpart. Mass effect sold less because it was out for a whole year on 360 and PC, so most people who wanted to play it got to play it.
Actually, most of the time, shooters only sell more on 360 because the majority of the 360 install base are teenagers who mainly follow the mainstream.
Yeah, this game is looking amazing. And i thought of buying a 360. But then I remembered...what else do I have to look forward to? Not much
The game looks good, but not exceptional. It has a cell-shaded like look which really bothers me. Plus, once Uncharted 3 comes out, it won't matter how Rage looks because I doubt it will be able to match U3's quality
Microsoft's E3 conference will consists of Shooters, Gore, More shooters, some more gore, COD, and oh yea, Forza 3. Oh and lets not forget MGS rising, because MS loves to boost.
Make not break. how can more cool new powers possibly break a game?
Don't get your hopes up guys, I doubt the conference will be mindblowing. yes a few new IP's and sequels will be announced, but only 1/3 of the time will be spent on ps3, where the other 2/3 will be spend on the Move and NGP, which aren't really that fascinating.
I'd rather have exclusive DLC content similar to GTA4 rather than one extra costume or mission or something else minor. Honestly, Rockstar acts like its doing ps3 users a favour, but its really not.
Not a surprise. Did anyone actually expect this game to be any good?
How about: Treyarch, please spend more time play-testing your games.
And this is news why?
I play video games to release stress from a hard day's work. Making games more challenging should appeal to a small niche crowd, but not to the general population who I doubt wants to constantly get frustrated while playing. So save games are fine the way they are.
Your comment is a paradox
Major ouch!
