I think that was sarcasm. SE still has much to prove in my book. Capcom on the other hand, truly did mean multiplatform.
I'm an US citizen and I do not think US is the center of the universe. I also hate many of the american brand product as they tend to die pretty quick compare to foreign brand products.
And Americans wonder why most of the world think of US as aholes of the world. It's quite an obvious reason and it's not jealousy. Starts with an E.
I think so to, somewhere along the line, the marketing team for many companies realized:
If we can create buzz, we can put loads of ads and fanboys will swarm thus creating hits and profit for us.
I agree, there has been too much emphasizes on graphic this generation. Personally, I go for story and gameplay. I got Disgaea 3 not for graphic but for the gameplay and story. I got Valkyria Chronicle, not the most advance graphic but definitely nice too look at but my primary reason is for the story. I got MGS4 not for graphic but to find out what happens to Snake.
I'm not sure how graphic became so important these days but for me, I put my money where I can enjoy it. If I want...
You better start telling that to many of these game journalist and blog site like Kotaku. The only reason why there are many Sony fanboy at this site is because it's the only haven where Sony fanboy can come to.
I've been to a lot of different game blogs, game news sites and there are a looooooooot of 360 fanboys. FUD were being spread every where. At N4G, there is more of a balance compare to site like Joystiq and Kotaku. One good comment about the PS3, there will be at least 15...
I got an idea, we need to find gamers who are willing to step into political office. We gamers can infiltrate from inside out instead of barking at each other on the internet.
But then again, we can't win votes or popularity by blaming parents for their stupidity.
I'm sorry but is it just me or does it look like italianbreadman created multiple accounts and started a whole conversation to generate more hits.
@sho
I game while standing up sometimes. It helps me focus better.
What would be better is to include a Street fighter game in the Bluray version. That would be awesome.
As long as the gores is not remove like what happen with Manhunt 2, I'm fine. Can't wait to try this game on my friend's Wii.
Yay, got to love these patent sharks.
I'm asian, and the guys from GTA Chinatown really don't look that asian to me. My asian and non asian friends think so too. They look Hispanic to us. No offense.
No clue, Professor Layton 2 still haven't found it's way out of Japan but they are definitely planning to release it outside of Japan. It's been over a year.
That's disappointing considering for the most part the english is already there for the game.
DVD is really showing its age these days.
This is why a lot of people are mad that FFXIII went multi. Not because we don't want others to play but PS3 owners must suffer for these water down qualities. SE is really digging it's own grave, I just have to wonder when it will collapse on them already.
I think it's the problem of media bias. Every time I read something about a PS3 exclusive, there are all these small almost unnoticeable flaws but some how once the media or some random internet blogger finds it. It's blown out the water while 360 exclusives have their flaws overlook for the most part.
Another thing is, there always seem like there is a lot of pressure on PS3 exclusive. From system sellers to Halo killer to whatever. So far, I've aim for games worth my money and ...
I agree with you. I could never justify paying to play online mainly because I have other stuff in my life to do than game + game online. I can't game online everyday and sometimes I go weeks without gaming. With PSN, not gaming online doesn't matter to me since it's free. Not gaming on XBL would mean value lost. I have 3 friends who stop paying for Live because they are just too busy to play online all the time and paying doesn't justify it.
I stopped after 1 minute into the demo. My roommate was shock to see me stop playing the demo so quick as I spend usually at least 20 minutes or more on most demo to better judge the game. It was terrible, especially the graphics, it's like they didn't even try. Watchmen on the other hand was a better demo but not enough to justify a $20 price tag.
I can't wait. I'm excited for this as much as I am excited for Valkyria Chronicles anime.
So if a kid is smart and mature enough to handle games like GTA, you're going to say no? I think parents are only to blame if they can't tell or care enough to know what games are suitable for their kids.
I don't always agree with Yi-Long, but I do agree with his point about this law and the fact that politician and ignorant parents are taking it too far.
There are evil aliens within Sega. The sonic staff has been replaced by evil aliens trying to take over the Earth. Their plan is simple, torture people with endless bad Sonic games and torture our poor soul.
