Big budget does not mean better game. If GT5 is made for 2 system, PD would have to divide their resources, developers and time which will result in cut of quality. And piracy is a huge thing which doesn't give PD and Sony enough of an incentive to develop on more systems. The end result will probably be a lost in profit.
I much rather it stays on the PS3, GT5P is great and GT5 will definitely be awesome.
I don't think Onlive will be that successful. First, I think it has to price pretty low to convince people to buy it. Second, there is no offline play. There are times when the internet doesn't work or connection issue, I usually play games to kill those mean times. Third, ISP have been expanding not shrinking bandwidth cap. Third, many people still prefer to physically own their games. With physical disc, I can trade and let my friends borrow my game.
E3 falls in Q2 though.
Wow, I get a disagree for saying E3 is in Q2.
And Kojima was mad at Konami for pulling that stunt. Reason being why MGS3 never went on Xbox. Kojima is a perfectionist and a Sony/Apple fanboy, and Konami knows not to kill a cash cow.
It's alright, when you truly play a Disgaea game, you clock over 50 hours of your life away. I don't mind restarting the game to get the trophies.
You must not be familiar with the MGS series. Kojima made the game for the fans. Cutscenes is a big part of why I purchase MGS4. If there is less than 10 hours of cutscenes in MGS5, it's a disappointment.
Sorry but Konami is not Square Enix where they outcast a huge section of their fans and destroy long term profits.
I'm sorry you didn't pick the console for the games. Some of us here want quality and with recession and $60 a game, I want no less than absolutely stunning. The bar is set, it's call MGS4. If MGS5 fall below that, then it's half ass.
If it is inferior to MGS4, that's pretty disappointing. I want MGS5 to further the experience like how MGS3 is a lot better than MGS2 in terms of graphic and experience. By making it multiplatform, I don't think that jump in quality will be created and more likely to drop in quality.
He doesn't want to be the one making the story and all but he does want to overlook it.
Now if you read the article, you would have read that 10% of making impossible to possible is technology and the passage of time. 360 lacks the technology for his vision, time can't make up for that. If 360 had included an HD-DVD drive, things could have been different.

I want to own my games, I want physical disc, I want to be able to sell and trade my game. I want to be able to play my games offline when I don't have an internet connection available.

I can understand why he doesn't want it to sell well. This whole gen has been obsessed with sales. Many fanboys fail to realize sale=/=quality. I guess he only wants people that is only willing to take a chance to appreciate or try to understand the insanity to play it. What better than PSN. I mean, PSN got Flower, Flow, Eden, etc. Games that are different, unique and misunderstood by many.
