Oh, I so remember those spider caves in D2.. o.O
This looks interesting.
I will defiantly check it out once I get home from work..
Perhaps as an encounter with different stages. First you meet one of the brothers, then the next one, then both, or something like that. Or that you fight him for a while, and then he sends in his more brutal minions and flees, to be fought later on.
Cool.
I have never heard of Hydrophobia before.
Or they could always go for larger premises, and sell more tickets.
Blizzcons own.. but that is only because Blizzards withhold so much information until they are held :P
Yeah, I have to admit, now that I have waited for so long.. it almost feel too soon.. >.<
I agree! I soooo want more information about it!
Interesting read about the design of the leagues. I had not given it so much though before.
Does this mean all data traffic is routed via B-net?
Computers do not talk directly to each other when playing the game?
If that it true, then it is a major disappointment.
I so like thinks like "molotov-cocktail-throwin g civilians".
Will be great both in the campaign and in the editor :D
Blizzard and their trademarked "soon" :P
Well, they do thinks better then most other gaming companies, so I guess an "as soon as we can" can be better than a date.
The best thing they can (and should) do instead of this, would probably be to just have a low latency or regional requirement for competitive ladder play only. And allow friendly play between regions, also allowing B-net friends between regions.
Might be a work in progress they don't have time to finish before the release though.
This is indeed bad new for those of that have friends in different regions.
It is also really bad for SC2 websites that want to hold competitions for their members :/
It would be really funny if Blizzard gave them back there own medicine, and opted themselves that SC1 (as it contains gore, smoking, swearing, etc) should be rated 18+ in South Korea..
Then KeSPA's grip over it would become even more worthless ^^
I'm also unsure of this. Reediting all the cinematics, etc to fit their requirements will probably take some time.
Also, when a marine is split in half, spreading gore in all directions.. will black blood be enough?
A very good article :)
I'm all on Blizzards side on this one, and glad they did not bow to KeSPA.
However it is partially thanks to KeSPA that SC1 is so big over there, so Blizzard have indirectly benefited from them in the past.
Gah, I meant the Overseer :P
Very interesting changes. I especially like the Infested Terran being moved to Overlord and that forcefields now can be destroyed :)
Really good looking, indeed! (I must agree on the 360 part though, consoles aren't my thing)
