If the tension adjustable analog sticks on this controller, can make it feel nice and loose and precise, like the PS3 analog sticks, then must buy for sure
Keith76 :
"gamerscores better than trophies"
WRONG
gamerscores are meaningless. Why?
First of: WHen you see someone has a gamerscore of 65,454. You can't directly tell if he has done ALL achievements for 65 games, or if he just got only 50% of trophies for A LOT of games.
WIth trophies you can EASILY tell, simply by looking at the number of platinum's they have.
Second: Achievement...
Total 360 sales / # of years it's been out
Total PS3 sales / # of years it's been out
PS3 comes out on top.
Well done jcaashby, those 6 games you listed, 4 of them can already be played on PS3
fail
jcaashby - "And if the end of the year comes and PS3 hasnt dominated with all the killer games coming."
Where have you been? The PS3 is already dominating the 360. Have you seen the PS3s exclusive lineup for 2011 and compared it to 360s 2011 lineup?
Sales mean jack shit if the games aren't any good.
Case closed.
"Face palm 5. "360 failure rate" You mean like the PS2 fail rate? Or how about the fact that it's all been fixed free of charge from MS. How are those $150 repair fees from Sony for bad Blu-ray drives and bricked consoles do to firmware updates? RROD was fixed over 2yrs ago and that still hasn't kept the PS3 from chugging last like a caboose."
I'd rather have the PS3 in last place and have many more quality games, then 2nd place with no games...
WOW just wow. except for Alan Wake 2 and Shadow Complex 2, that list is just plain awful.
I think it's pretty much official, Microsoft have changed their focus on to Kinect. Core gamers get screwed. Only 2 GREAT games to look forward to.
The soccer mom console on top of sales as usual, to bad it doesn't mean much, no core games.
PS3 continues to outsell 360 in Europe. No surprise there.
The thing that interests me about this pad is the adjustable tension for the analog sticks. Can finally make the analog sticks nice and loose, like the PS3s, for increased precision.
Also have to remember a lot of those 40 million are RROD units.
Good news, but I will be extremely surprised if it outsold the 360 version. It will without a doubt outsell the PC version, but it will be tough to outsell the 360 version, even though that didn't sell that great.
Keyboard+Mouse yuck. Offers absolutely no immersion what so ever. I guess if you have no skill in aiming, then you have no choice but to use KB+Mouse.
or the lack of games on 360
PSN fail.
I love my PS3, but if there was ONE thing that I like about XBL, it's the quicker download/install.
With XBL, you download a demo and its pretty much automatically installed, thats it!
With PSN, you have to download it AND then install it.
Seriously WTF?
Wait what? o.0
ME2 looks much better on PC, it's to bad the gameplay ain't as great though.
It's actually a positive for several reasons
1) Game loads quicker
2) System runs cooler
3) Less wear and tear on the drive and the disc
It would actually be a good thing if the PS3 offered a FULL INSTALL, rather then a PARTIAL install
Superior graphics yes, but definitely not superior gameplay and immersion. I can pretty much confirm this from playing the PC version of ME1 first.
Nice try though.
DS2 easy choice. Don't feel like playing generic KZ2.5
Do you remember PC gaming back in 99-2002? All those exclusives, remember?
Now look at the PC, hardly any games what so ever. Piracy has an impact, though it depends on the platform. It didn't really effect 360. Will it effect PS3? I guess we shall see.
When I think of Europe, I think of it as a highly intelligent and sophisticated group. The UK is none of this, so wouldn't be right to include UK
