LOL, well that "limited, proprietary headset" you’re referring too has better sound quality than any blu tooth I've used on my PS3, so to be honest I would take that any day. The fact that MS does provide a headset with each 360 is the reason it's easier to communicate in 360 games. I have both and it's been my experience that on the 360 it is MUCH easier to find a party where everyone has a headset.
Maybe to YOU, but to ME a multi console owner I want the best version period. I don't care what the differences are, if the 360 version loads 5 seconds faster, and has 10 more blades of grass in it I am going to get it. If Dead space 2 looks the same on both consoles but comes with more content on PSD3 I'm going to get that version. I will pick the 5% better version every time.
