Man I am with you 100% man. 3D gives me a headache too, and I hate it. I wish it didn't because I do think it's an awesome effect, but I don't see it becoming the standard, ever. I don't think I know anyone with a huge interest in it. I don't think I know anyone besides myself with a 3D TV. I could be wrong though, who knows. I try it ever now and then to see if I can watch it without the headache, but I guess I just wasn't designed with 3D in mind.

I think that is the biggest reason for it. It's too bad really, these games really are top quality, more people should know about them. I know I try to spread the word as much as one person can.
I've already said it 4 time before on this site, but every time I think of KZ3 and the snow I have to say how amazing the ocean looked in those scenes as well. With all the ice floating and treacherous waves I swear it made me "feel" cold. You just know if you fell into it you’d be through. GG did an amazing job on that.

To be honest man, I'm not sure what game your playing because Gears 3 trumps 1&2 in the graphics department. I finished a back to back play through of Gears 1&2 right before this came out and Gears 3 looks much better. The lighting, effects (smoke, explosions, etc.), textures, and character models are all a step up from the previous 2. IMO I think gears 3 hold the crown for best console graphic period. I was playing that the other day and I loved the way they make the ocean in the arctic location feel. It was absolutely immersive.

I don't know why people try to make it sound like PS3 owners and 360 owners are 2 different species. What about those of us who own both? I agree with you, both parties tend to play the same types of games for the most part. Of course there are exceptions to this like anything else, but I find it funny when people generalize a whole group of people and try to make it sound like a FACT.
