I personally love gutting people online with the Retro Lancer. It's right up there with chain sawing someone in half. I also loved how smooth it was to get into a match. No lag, no long waits, I thought it worked perfectly.

I've traded and bought it back 3 times already. I just keep coming back to it. I still think it's the best example of this gens console tech out there period. It's just got some of everything, and all of its good. I can simple drive around the city and watch how the people roll across my car for hours and be amazed how no 2 people do the same thing when they're hit.
I agree 100%, they already got a great jump on the improvements in TBOGT, and LATD. I thought the addition of base jumping missions in Gay Tony were just awesome. I also loved how all 3 stories intertwined, I can’t wait for GTA5 (or whatever they name it).

It's not a "slippery slope". They are not needed at all for the game. If you want the skins and have the money cool, get them. If you think it's a rip off, or don't have the money you are only missing out on the look of a weapon, no big deal at all. I have the money and I won’t be getting them. I can only tell you my opinion, but I just played Uncharted 1&2 back to back now I am almost done with Gears 2 right after I finished Gears 1. "TO ME" Gears 1 looks better then UC1, and I really don't think UC2 looks that much better then Gears 2.
