smart you are giving them too much credit for just having a huge marketing budget lol. not taking anything away from them either though.
all it takes is money. i keep saying there is a reason you havent seen a xbox 360 commercial in forever, they have been saving their money for things like this, natal and halo reach advertising. the commercial and tv slots will run copious amounts of 360 ads from here through the holidays..... get ready.
that star power behind your game is cool. but just make a good game first thats all i care about
none of those games are surprises. but you forget last years sony conference the big things for them were already anounced. they showed god of war 3 and uncharted, MAG, and modnation racers at their conference and that wowed people. for me id rather see a game demoed live than just a trailer. not saying i won't take a trailer. even better they show a cool trailer of twisted metal ps3 then go straight into a live demo = epic win
all of those games (except for motorstorm maybe) would ONLY be a surprise if they DIDN'T have another iteration announced. so i don't think it is the end for their conference. but only time will tell
is sad not just ps3 fanboy
his job. does he get paid just to say things or is he more involved with advertising and marketing strategies. but if it is his job just to talk shit then thats one easy job kudos to him for finding that job
so the way i would get one would be wrong. lock your doors lol
be nice if there was a ps3 demo but its must be too complicated for them to do that lol
seems like a stupid move to me. i would like to try this game(as a ps3 only owner) but now i cant. the only way this benefits the game is if it sucks and i buy it on impulse regardless. it is becoming a dumb trend backbreaker and another game did the same thing. its dumb to cut off a whole chunk of your user base from trying your game for no reason. and that goes both ways
it seems as though a they will have it playable with both move and the dualshock 3 controller if i remember correctly from the zipline zipper podcast
i hope its because of good games and solid hardware that makes natal successful. but you already know that natal will have halo type marketing x10 if you've noticed Ms has not released a commercial in forever now so guess what they are saving up for. Natal and halo reach. but like you said i hope that there is some substance with natal.
thats where my "it might catch on for people" statement comes from. some people might get it just to manipulate the dashboard, and if a good natal based game comes with it that would just be icing for them. far as implementing natal in actual gameplay like you said with commands and or gesturing to throw a grenades i could see how that would be cool for people. but the way ms was promoting natal was to take the controller away completey,so natal specific games would just be natal an...
that moving your whole hand to manipulate an interface is more efficient than a quick tap of a button. and the voice recognition has been done already if im not mistaken. but beside all that thats just u.i. we need games to be taken to the next level. but you could be right it might catch on for people.(atleast long enough to make ms money)
looks good both this and natal will probably be welcome additions to its perspective consoles. because in the end thats what it is about. Making these consoles do more and more for different audiences. I don't see why people think one must "lose" and one "win".
why can there only be one. if that is the case let it be the wii lol. but seriously everything is win or lose with people hopefully they will both be successfull enough to where they make money. Then use that money to fund more core games. but thats just wishfull thinking
what a made for n4g article coming from kotaku why is this article about adressing fanboy wars over a loss of a studio. just wow
DO YOU LOOT OR COLLECT THE HYDES OF THE BIRD PEOPLE
THE MAIN CHARACTER IS IRISH TOO, SO TO COUNTERACT THAT CHARACTER YOU COME ACROSS DONT DRINK AT THE SALOONS AT ALL, PROBLEM SOLVED
alot of disagrees with my last comment. are the people disagreeing with saying it doesnt cost any money to advertise and that microsoft wont run commercials or use a large advertising campaign for natal, halo reach, and the 360 itself. really
