don't give away their secret. if they post america's numbers today they can post europe's later, then japan's, then world wide numbers. that way they can have a top story everyday. (cause you know dem fanboy's love to play the numbers game (exclusively on n4g) lol
my only criticism is in some of the screens there isnt any depth in the enviroment. it looks flat like a painting to me for some reason.
the review score of a game has nothing to do with whether a game is AAA or not. besides if you go by your logic (being a mindless sheep that goes by an average of peoples opinions that you don't know to tell you whether a game is good) when is a 87 86 bad. lol @ people using metacritic.
i just want to see here in those daisy dukes
aren't their plenty of platformers on live arcade and psn. and you can always emulate the 2d ones on pc if you really wanted too. so there isnt really a loss there.
a 199 console would only be anything but good for the consumer(as long as the device retains its features). let sony worry about the business stuff. "loading video right now"
that shit was funny. why is everyone being so serious we are talking about video games on here. these are just as good as the kevin butler commercials but some of you guys probably don't like them either.
its already been said about 360 outselling the ps3 in america anyway. So i don't know why that's their headline. Why do we keep calling the new 360 a "slim" when it is not slimmer. anyway even though console sales are up. software sales are down. it would be nice to see software do a little better.
you spin me right round baby right round, like r.r.o.d right round baby
i cant wait to try it
hardware is fine. it is still powerful enough. the hardware doesn't matter as much as you think it does. it is up to the developers. it is all in how efficient you code the game.
lets say turn 10 lol
out of fucking 10 good day lol.
i hope there is a beta too. i have already signed up for psn+ so if there is i expect to be in it.
looks amazing. are we sure this is still open world, cause my mind can't comprehend this lol.
a few hundred comments on a gaming site, a few commercials here and there. cause when u say hype or especially halo hype i think back to when halo 3 came out and there was a media black out and master cheif was on mountain dew bottles and all over the place and the day of release was treated like a super bowl half-time show. i know you are incapable of seeing the bigger picture. but can u put this "hype" into perspective please.
that they just need to be able to increase system memory and that would go along way seems like to me. nothing crazy like swapping out video cards. and let developers make a game scalable. and of course the amount and type of memory would be controled by the console manufacture.
dude in the picture got some popeye forearms
the obvious thing to me is to revisit this question in a few years. we are comparing a service that is atleast 6 years old compared to a 1 day old service. I'm just saying give psn+ time to evolve.
and to add a little to that what does it matter if people are rebuying consoles the end number is all fanboy care about right? and if you want to compare to the ps3 redesign. the ps3 redesign was cool but the 100 dollar price drop was the big deal. the boost in numbers of hardware with the software of the ps3 vendicated the ps3 as a good system with good games the only barrier was the price point at the time.
