Dreams, Spider-Man, and Days Gone soon to follow! Throw in games like MHW and RDR2 it’s an easy argument to make that 2018 may end up as the best year for the PS4
Amazing.
Stoked for the sequel!
@Ashlen Given the glaring dearth of first party content currently I highly doubt MS would pass up the opportunity to announce the development of a Fable 4. Like I said there’s no way there’s more than a teaser (no gameplay) And as you alluded to MS and it’s talking heads haven’t been a model for consistency or reliability this gen
It’ll be a cool reveal at E3, but yeah the cats totally out of the bag haha
I fully expect to see something at E3 this year, but there’s no way it’s more than a teaser. Which I’m honestly fine with, it was sad to see Lionhead get closed but I’m just glad MS didn’t abandon this franchise based on all the shitty development choices THEY pushed on them. Might even get a 1x for this
@LucasRuinedChildhood Thanks for the suggestion man, Onrush wasn’t even on my radar. Just watched the PGW trailer, and definitely got some MotoStorm vibes
@Tear111 Agreed, there was a lot of talent there, I was happy to hear that a lot of Evolution’s team merged with Codemasters. Thankfully Sony still owns both ips so there’s still hope of a return. Could even be a standout PS5 launch title!
I just hope we get a new MotorStorm someday, the closure of Evolution is probably my biggest disappointment from Sony this gen.
I agree man physical copies shouldn’t be totally discarded, but at the end of the day games are what really matter and the future is digital. If Google can enter the market with an impressive product I say the more competition the merrier. I mean if Google’s vision for the future of gaming sucks, the “Yeti” should fail, but still some of the best advancements in any field come from failures so again I welcome the competition
I’m not sure but with the emphasis on exploration in this one “missable” might be a better term. Kind of like Bloodborne, it may just be some fights aren’t essential to progressing the game and could be “skipped” if you didn’t care to go find them.
Bro that’s on you.
MGSV, InFamous SS, Just Cause 3, Until Dawn, and Deus Ex: MD all in just the last few months
Cool, I’ll be keeping an eye on this one.
Hey man I bought The Order day 1, but it was just alright overall. I’d agree that it received an unwarranted level of hate, but there was a lot of hype going in and when it struggled to hit the mark the haters just poured in. Hopefully we get a sequel someday that capitalizes on all that potential.
OT: Days Gone looks amazing, can’t wait. And I actually don’t mind it going under the radar, should cause a big splash when released.
After about the 30hrs I’ve put in I’d give the game around an 8.5 so far. I was actually shocked at how poorly the game started but the more time I put in the better BoTW seems to get, and something about it keeps pulling me back in.
So since I already own a PS4 Pro, a 1X will only cost me a $100? I had no idea! /s
Dude. This. So much this lol
Agreed I wanted to want the 1X but MS just dropped the ball on content. An annual release is the showpiece and abunch of up-resed 360 games? Pass
Agreed, but I’m curious if Dice will attempt to somehow rework the mechanics of the game, or if it’ll just remain the exact same grind but without the ability to purchase content previously behind the pay wall. Either way a step in the right direction if true.
Apparently it’s a temporary decision: “EA has issued an official statement, confirming the removal of crystals. As such, and at the moment, every gear and Hero will be earned via progression. However, there is a catch...
Unfortunately no.
Nioh’s on sale for $25 right now too, pretty tempting
