Would've been a nice freebie as a nod to the ME trilogy, but fuck that right? "Gimme Mo money!!"
@2pacalypse I feel ya man I started skipping Maddens when the franchise started to stagnate (few years after 2K went away), but I always end up picking up a copy every 2 years or so to scratch that itch. However, seeing EA expend more effort on developing that ultimate team garbage in the last couple years than I've ever seen on their carousel of features they add and subtract every year may be the last straw.
And sadly those are probably the most egregious examples of EA gouging their consumers for every penny they can get. Unfortunately sports games have become monetization wastelands at this point
I agree that it certainly looks better, and the javelin designs and variety have piqued my interest. I also like how BioWare intends on keeping the DLC free, and I especially like how open BoWare has been with the development of Anthem. But I’m glad we’re getting a demo because I just don’t want to get my hopes up too high, EA has proven to taint anything they get their hands on.
If it’s good, that’s awesome! If not, it’s likely safe to shut the book on another once great ...
Cool, ready to see if this is more than a Destiny clone. I used to love BioWare so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt going in.
Playground definitely set the standard for what a high quality open world racer is this gen. Excellent car selection, customization, race variety, interesting geography, beautiful visuals, dynamic weather etc... But sadly it made me miss Motorstorm that much more, and it’s missed potential. Simply because Motorstorm is more my style of racer and Motorstorm was also presented as this incredible international festival that called out to gear heads everywhere. At least in the first two.

I thought the crafting and scarcity of resources was balanced exceptionally well, it’s especially impactful on your first playthrough while you’re learning how to play and making mistakes. With the crafting being real time it lead to some really intense/memorable moments.
Yup, nothing to see here. It seems Slant always does this.
10’s are dropping everywhere! I cannot wait to get lost in the west all over again. Thank you R*!
4 gotys in a row in Morrowind, Oblivion, FO3, and Skyrim but sure because FO4 wasn’t as good as their previous work Bethesda is low quality, you sir are an idiot.
I’m a huge football fan man, Madden sucks. Same canned animations, below average visuals, weak AI, bland repetitive presentation, shallow repetitive commentary, underwhelming stadium feel, limited weather system, piss poor customization options, shallow franchise mode... the list goes on. 2K puts out a much better product even though both have turned into MT disasters
I’d prefer to see HZD2 as well but there’s no doubt whatever GG is working on is a PS5 title. So if it’s not HZD2 at least it’ll be an opportunity for GG to familiarize themselves with the new hardware much like KZ: Shadowfall did for them this gen.
Just platinumed this yesterday, outstanding experience start to finish. My only hope is that Insomniac ips like R&C and Resistance don’t disappear because these guys will be making Spider-Man for the foreseeable future.
Every time I see this game I’m both more confused and more intrigued. Looks to be some excellent mind bending sci-fi
Mortal Kombat Kart racer sounds surprisingly intriguing haha
Yeah I guess there’s an FPS shaped hole in the Sony exclusive lineup but the FPS genre is more than well represented on the PlayStation. Honestly the FPS style games I’d like to see from Sony I get my fix from Bethesda mostly, with games like Doom, Wolfenstein, Prey, and soon Rage 2. The new Metro looks amazing as well
Yeah this is a another nice acquisition, I’m really hoping Darksiders 3 delivers. That would really put their name back on the map
I always really dug the sci-fi meets Norse mythology premise. There was also a solid loot and class system.
Idk man, while obviously Spider-Man and RDR2 are both gonna be big hitters, and I wouldn’t consider another platform other than my Pro. There’s something about games like Octopath Traveler, Dead Cells, Hollow Knight, Stardew Valley, etc that just fit perfectly with the Switch. A portable indie collection is just really cool imo
I did. I understand you can grind for the set, but this is exactly the type of item that people would buy credits for. Buy a new game and spend hours of gameplay to attain something tied to a whole other franchise or just spend more $ to get it immediately like many ME fans will. Kind of diminishes the fan service element imo
