If you want plug and play, buy a console. The PC platform is fine as it is. I will gladly spend some time to customize the game for my best liking before I start playing. I love this freedom of adjusting the settings for my liking.
Playing at 30fps on PC with mouse and keyboard is horrible experience... Sure it is good enough with gamepad, but 30fps WILL bother you if you use mouse.

I myself have purchased games for around 65 dollars, and probably going to buy more. And many of these games are from flash sales. Apotheon, Invinsible INc and Road Redemption are great games.
125 million Steam users does not mean 125 million active users.
And Steam is free, so many people will download it and try it out. Not to mention the multiple account users.

This is why I love Wii U of all the consoles. Because the games are actually 60fps and butter smooth, while also having that cool artistic look.
