actually I live in the US and I have two launch 60GB PS3's. At the time of registering for this site, I was in Europe.
Match making sucks. Socom had the best online "lobby" system and the best online experience ever on a console. The thing that sucked on it was the PS2's inability to stay consistent with the framerate and cheaters.
WTH is really going on? I have 2 launch 60gb's in my place. I played GTA4 on both for many hours without a hitch.
Homebrew is great but it leads to cheating online. If you have the ability inject codes into memory it will happen. It will ruin PSN for everyone. Sony will then need to come out with another form of "DNAS" for the PS3.
Look at the Independence Exploit for the PS2. The PS2 homebrew launcher. DNAS could never detect codes that were preloaded from homebrew injectors.

You nailed it man. I totally agree with you. I feel San Andreas is still the best GTA game to date. It had all the bells and whistles to entertain you for a long time. Everything but the graphics and physics kills GTA4. BUT, San Andreas of its time was very stunning in the graphics dep. I thought we would never see such game as big as San Andreas on the PS2.
Even if he worked on a 100gb disc he still wouldn't be satisfied.
I've actually heard of that happening before. Maybe excessive use of cheats?
Country side environments. I remember launching off the high mountain in SA with a dirt bike. It was truly amazing.

GeoW2 was supposedly the second half of GeoW1 but it couldn't fit on a DVD disc. Smart move Epic. Split one to make two. ;)
I sure as hell didn't get the "WOW" impression I had when GTA:SA came out.
