I'm sorry but that made me laugh. It is such a ridiculous thing to say. I am going to have to agree with v1c1ous on this one. Not with the colors part but with post number 7.7.
I think the colors are, in a sense an art direction of the game. It looks great to me.
From what I recall, removing region lock isn't as simple as disabling. It conflicts with licensing and agreements for PS1/PS2 titles between the devs and Sony.
But hey, at least this time around we have all PS3 games that are region free. It's the best thing to happen to the Playstation because in my case, I travel a lot and I bring one of my NTSC PS3's with me all the time.
It's been so long since RA2. I really can't wait for this one. Hopefully the PS3 supports KB and mouse as an option.
This will only open up cheating and hacks for online games. It will ruin the PSN for everyone. Homebrew apps like Code 9 killed the PS2's online DNAS system.
Stick to the PS3's built in option for linux to run homebrew applications and emulators.

Home is actually built with advertising in mind. It'll be free no doubt, but there would be ads everywhere. Not that it's a bad thing. I think the layout is well balanced.
Currently no ingame communication but I'm fine with that.
Most of my friends on PSN are real-life friends any way. A simple call, text message, or Instant Message via AIM are just seconds away.

That's exactly what I want and am expecting from the next installment of Socom. "Slight changes". I'd take a remake of Socom 2 running native on PS3 hardware and PSN if I have to. I don't like too much change in gameplay. Look what happened to Socom 3. Still a great Socom game but most original Socom addicts were disappointed with the drastic changes and added features implemented into the gameplay. In the end, it wasn't as addicting as Socom 2.
