I've been paying in full for every game I've preordered for the 360, PS3, and Wii. It's not a scam. It's actually convenient for me because the store manager is a close friend of mines and he delivers the game to me 3 or 4 days earlier than release date. Same thing happened with GTAIV. I had that game days before it launched. MGS4 is an exception though. I ordered the LE 40 gig PS3 bundle.
I just pre-ordered and paid in full for this game, Resistance 2, and LBP last week.
Add a brown tint onto the Gears of War 1 image and you basically have GeoW2. Try it in Photoshop.

Embrace the high storage capacity not just the high image quality. Toshiba is stalling adoption of the next best thing. They should instead apply their upscaling techniques onto Bluray movies so we can project current high def standard as "ultra" HD.

George Bush is doing his part. I suggest you do the same and buy the 80GB or LE bundle if you don't have a PS3. Gaming standards will never be the same again after June 12. Put all fanboyism and console loyalty aside and be there to witness gaming's most iconic masterpiece unveil.
It's official but I'm afraid I won't have any time to play this enough to appreciate it. Socom Confrontation will be taking most of my gaming time starting September till Socom 4, then October with LBP, and Resistance in November. It's too much, I don't think I can handle it. ;)

Haze the flagship FPS for the PS3? I think not. I never once believed this game would succeed. It looks mediocre compared to Halo.

I really don't see the big deal with mandatory installs.
For those that hate it though, developers should include a mini-game to keep you eager and desperate gamers occupied during installation. From what I recall, Tekken 4 had this feature? A Pac Man-like car game? I'm not too sure. It could be another game I'm thinking about.
The soundtrack in this game rivals with the best heard in movies.
