I can safely say it's not networking issues. I have Nat Type 2 on all PS3's and I have no problem using them all at once in an online game. I'm fairly knowledgeable in Networking and have configured my router with optimal and recommended settings. It could be possibly be a server side issue. BTW... I do have seperate accounts for each PS3.

Sony please don't release 2.36. I'm sure the current firmware is stable enough till 2.40 arrives. I own more than 3 PS3's. It's quite a hassle for me because for some reason I can't update all at the same time. It successfully updates on one, and fails to download on the rest. IDK why. I pretty much have to download and update one by one. I like constant updates but in my situation it's pretty annoying knowing the updates contain little to no difference.
Like I said before, embrace the technology because Bluray offers more than just true high definition visuals. It offers superb sound quality and massive storage space for other use. Those that quickly dismiss this tech are probably Xbox fanboys, former HD-DVD supporters, or anti-Sony. They were the same people that said Digital Distribution will take off and kill Bluray. You need to put some time into MGO to really get into it. It's not a jump in and play type of game.
MGS4 cut-scenes and storyline puts Hollywood films to shame. At some moments I seriously had to look closely at the TV to see if it was CGI rendered. Then I found out you can disable the OctoCamo during the cut-scenes. Even further interactivity is with the camera and the ability to enter any cut-scene with any costume or FaceCamo. Truly amazing.

Wow! Serious exaggeration.
I never once heard about the 40 hour gameplay for MGS4. What I heard was 20 hours of gameplay and 9 hours worth of cut-scenes. This guy is trying hard to downplay MGS4.
It's a masterpiece no doubt. A new benchmark for stealth and action games.

I'm loving my Gunmetal PS3. A remembrance of the greatest game I played so far this generation. Too bad I won't use it. Need to keep it in mint condition. My 60gig PS3's are still running strong. :)

Keep in mind the PS3 has had to compete with a Nintendo console half it's price and another console with a 1 year head start, a strong market share in the US, and an already big library of games including AAA titles. Knowing the PS3 survived through that kind of competition and a year of seriously bad press makes me believe it will reign on top again for this gen. hmm..... GTA4 as a GOTY contender? lol. Did you not hear? It was over-hyped and under-delivered. Same can be said with Super Smash Bros. I played it all and I can safely say MGS4 overshadows the two games you mentioned.

Exactly. There are no base update firmware. Newer firmwares can be applied to any PS3, heck even on a 1.0 FW PS3(well if you can find one. haha) skipping probably the 30+ firmwares in between.
