This is part of a presentation obviously showing all the features of the console.
The commercial is trying to show all the extra features available to consumers. The one isn't just a game and Netflix machine like the ps4 is. You can do much more with the console.
These consoles are pretty much completely unlocked to devs this gen. That was a focus in their design. Don't expect much more then lip service from either company.
Once it launches in 40 extra territories this September the difference in sales between the consoles will most likely close a great deal. Ps4 will probably sell more since its generally perceived as the leader but Xbox one will definitely be hot on its heals. We will just end up with a 3 million difference in sales like what we have now.
It should be a side scroller beat em up like the old snes one was but with better graphics. I'd be down for that.
It's hard to say no to all that potential money from last gen folks. I can understand why they are hesitant.

I enjoy being able to browse media from my phone using apps like bubbleupnp and streaming it to the Xbox one. That way I'm not bothering someone using it while I'm searching and I don't have to leave my couch of laziness:-)
If eonjay's gif is any indication. The only difference between the two consoles graphically will be very slight shadow and color differences. There goes that 50% more power lol.

This is one time where console gamers might want to hope that console God up on his "cloud" will help out;)

There you have it. All the people who thought sony would never do anything like MS did with DRM. They were going to.
I talked to a fella who was at an internal demo at MS campus where they showed halo 4 streaming on a Windows phone at 40ms.
This game is way over hyped. We haven't even seen actual gameplay just a quick done up trailer. This game could fall flat on its face when it comes out. Best to not board the hype train yet.
