All the talk about where and how much visibility Indies should have makes me think of the beer isle in the grocery store. Big companies like Budweiser and Coors dominate the isle while smaller companies fight for the scraps to get shelf space. I never realised that was how devs felt about the game store.
I just want them to produce something that will make all the doubters finally go quiet. I'm sick of hearing all the armchair techs say it isn't possible.

This is amazing. I just read an article where the creator of the mighty #9 asked for an extra $100,000 to have voice acting and people were up in arms over it.

Game devs and publishers just need to all sit down and say we're not going to discuss or list resolution or frames per second. They obviously hate talking about it. Just make an industry effort to ban conversations about it. When some journalist asks about it just say no.
People are upset because bungie is the studio that made halo. Halo is the series that defined the Xbox brand. That makes master chief the equivalent of what Mario is to Nintendo. When bungie split from MS and made Destiny with timed exclusive content for ps4 it stung a lot of people because it made people feel they didn't care. If naughty dog dropped Sony and made a game with exclusive content for Xbox Sony fanaticals would be doing the exact same thing.
Given the fact Sony isn't throwing as much money at AAA titles this gen I can understand why people would be a tad upset at the amount of Indies on the table.
The reason he isn't doing big bosses voice is because he will appear as snake again once this thing comes full circle. You can't have one actor doing to people's voices who sound the same. If snake doesn't make an appearance in this one he'll will in the next.

Sony makes music and movies. The last thing they want is for people not to pay for them by streaming it. They probably realised full DLNA wasn't such a good idea and back tracked on the ps4. They do make a profit on those two things. No reason to lose money on it.

It says it's held in Japan. Sony is Japanese and I'd be willing to bet the majority if not all of that industry panel is Japanese. Hmmm makes you wonder;)
