I'll wait till Underground 3. I want customization, I want to make my car unique like I did in Underground 2.It motivated me to win races, earn cash and unlock new parts to improve my car. Hot Pursuit was so boring I sold mine after 2 races because there was no motivation to racing at all. It's 2011 and not to long it'll be 2012. Arcade racing is not enough anymore. Its definitely ported from console all right. Great game so far, but it has its downsides.
1. x and y-axis mouse movement is different, since console players cant look up the y-axis movement is 2x slower than the x-axis movement. 2. Mouse sensitivity in-game and in menus differ... by a lot.
3. Needs DX11 badly. I can see a lot of areas witch could benefit(performance wise) from tessellation.
4. Textures... there are allot of great textures in the game but then...
In other news, console to pc ports are getting worse and developers are getting lazy. Now, I wonder whats causing all the pirating...
Like I say, "You pay for the superior platform, you get the superior game!". Even console player could have benefited from pc first port to console later. Its the same concept as image compression.
Wat did you expect from a console port? Sunshine and rainbows? It's because of this crap that people pirate games. Be honest, would you by a half-assed product at $60 a pop? I only buy quality products. Anyway, expect hacks for this problem and the ICEnhancer(since this game uses the same engine as GTA 4).

COD4 was great, MW2 was a shitbox 360 to pc port and this game is a $60 map pack for COD4. 6.9/10 is still to high for a game that hasn't changed since 2007. COD needs a new graphics engine, maybe they can license Frostbite 2.

art style from the pc version looks far more realistic and shadows is better, draw distance, textures,.... well the pc version just looks better in every aspect. Cryengine 2 is still better than the Cryengine 3.
Hope the guy who made that advance graphic tool for Crysis 2 will make one for Rage.
It would have been better with DX11. Better Performance, better graphics. The only reason that its in DX 9 was because it was allready in development for the xbox from the start.

I agree with Dailynch. Timeshift was a very underrated game.
SUB-HD brothers. The only HD version of COD is the PC version and even that is ported from the xbox.

Crysis 2 is NOT I repeat NOT the REAL Crysis 2 since Crytek only made it so that console gamers could have a game with the name Crysis in it. The current Crysis 2 ruined the Crysis franchise even Crytek admit that it backfired a bit. But now that there is a console game with the name Crysis in it, Crytek cant go back to PC only games otherwise console kids with there ancient tech will bitch and moan about it. Even you with your grandpa console that cant even keep up with my mid range graphics...
looks crap. Even in a trailer I can see the lack of AA and awful textures. Not surprised since this is made with cryengine 3 and the original is made with cryengine 2. Despite the numbering, cryengine 2 was years before its time and is still better than cryengine 3 because it does not have console code in it. Consoles being dinos aside, now the console players can finaly see what Crysis was about and why most pc gamers hated crysis 2 or as I call it Crysis console. Cant wait till Crytek makes...
This time optimize the whole game and not just the controls system for the pc.
Just redo the menus for the pc version. I don't want to bring a noobstick(gamepad) near my pc. Games like Skyrim is perfect for K&M, to bad developers are getting lazy. I am now level 26 and somewhat use to the controls but still tend to try and use the mouse for cretin menus and then remember it doesn't work on them. I bet the modders will deconsolize Skyrim before Bethesda will(if they ever will). Mods... the on true reason to get this game on the platform it belongs, the PC.
